Booked cheap hotel because we planned to stay just 2 nights and mostly going around. Thought it should be fine, but we was wrong! Came after 2 pm but waited for check-in around 1 hour and the room wasn't even cleaned. They changed the beds after second request and looked like didn't clean properly. Everything was extremely old and dirty (balcony door is on the picture). Balcony is facing the street and it's full of dust and cigarette butts. In the end air-condition got broken and staff couldn't do anything so we had to go to another hotel late in the evening. Booked through agoda.com where this guesthouse has suspiciously high rating, agoda took payment in advance, this was the reason we didn't run straight away. Please, learn from our mistake and stay away.

We stayed at number one house for 5 nights and they moved us to a different room after 1 night because that room needed renovations. The rooms were simple, but nice, nothing too extravagant. The employees were extremely kind and for them alone we would stay there again. The room had everything we needed and we had a balcony facing towards the street. We had a couple of ants in the room, not a lot and nothing worse than that. Also they were doing renovations which weren't too loud, but did seem to go late into the night. Also, the food was great and at a very fair price. We would definitely stay here again.

Great food, reasonable prices. Ordered a Fried Sea Bass in Fish Sauce (359B), Plain Omelette (59B), Papaya Salad (59B), Beef Noodle Soup, Coconut, two Cokes and the bill came up to around 680B. Very reasonable in Ao Nang. Food is very good! Very tasty. Recommended.

The guesthouse is quite old and rusty, should be cleaned a little better tbh. But the rooms are big, AC, good beds and the noise from the street is not too bad (atleast on 4th floor). The staff is very friendly and helpful. Also a very nice massage place downstairs.

Our stay in the Number one Hotel was perfect : a good quality of services, good rooms for a reasonnable price, cheap in comparasion to most of the resort in this place. The staff of the hotel was very friendly, the food was good also, and it's a good location not too far from the beach and the pier. We can only recommand this place!

The rooms were in a terrible condition and not worth the price asked at all. My aircon didn't work. I was promised it would be fixed which never happened. Then i was given another room next ro the road. It was so loud all night and impossible to sleep. After finally sleeping for an hour or two, i was woken up very early in the morning by very loud knocking on the door. I was asked if I was checking out or not. Checkout time was at 12pm so why was I woken up so early? It was overall a very bad experience. I would certainly never go there again, nor recommend anyone else to stay there. Sorry but after a lot of guesthouse experiences in my life this has certainly been one of the worst ones so far...

Upsides: very friendly staff, big rooms, everyday cleaning, nice food in own restaurant, many cheap restaurants and massage salons in neighborhood. Downside: old furniture, permanent troubles with bathroom equipment (stayed in three different rooms - the same problems in every one).

My parents and me visited Thailand Bangkok then Krabi. After Bangkok experience we were bit disapported. We didn't book any hotel until we reach Krabi, Alhamdulillah Allah guide us search for a mosque and then find a hotel nearby, we found Ao Nang masque from google. when we reached the masque and after asked several hotels, we found Number 1 Halal restaurant and just next to it Number 1 hotel, both looked owned by a Muslim. The owner Ali greeted and welcomed us, after 1st day of staying we decided all the 5 days stayed there. He took care of us and other customers nicely and in the best way he could. My father and him become friends with the interesting way they both used the language they know even they don't really understand each other's language plus showing picture on the phone. The staffs work there they all nice people. I learned little bit how to make Thailand bread from Mama. We really enjoyed the time there with the nice price, inshaallah I would recommend any of my friends who is going to Ao Nang to this hotel and their restaurant. Alhamdulillah (All Praise to Allah). May Allah grant more blessings to Ali and all his staff! Amin!

We had cereal, rice with shrimp, and spring rolls for lunch on our visit to Number 1. It was great. The food was spicy but not too spicy, the staff was very nice, and my daughter enjoyed her cereal very much. It was affordable and I would suggest it for anyone with a family.

Short walk to the bars, restaurants and the beach (10-15 min to the beach). They cleaned our room every day, changed our towels. We got a quiet room like we desired on our booking, so it was quiet for sleeping. Nice bathroom with a bathtub. Downsides: hotel policy of taking off shoes before entering the facilities. A bit old furniture. Very hard and squeeky bed.
