This hotel is in a great location less than 10 mins by shuttle bus provided by the hotel to Ao Nang where you can leave behind the hustle & bustle. This resort is is tranquil with a stunning back drop and gardens. The staff here do care about the guests and being a smaller hotel are able to achieve a more personal service. The breakfast was fine and was adequate but did not have the wow factor unlike the restaurant in which it was served did have! This was a very affordable stay and when we are next visiting this part of Thailand we will definitely consider staying here again. Thank you to all the staff from Andrew & David.

In typical Thai surroundings with street kitchens, massage shops and small market outlets you arrive to the reception of Ban Sainal Resort and the staff give you a heartful reception and helped you to the cottage. Within few meters the typical thai surroundings changed to become a tropical well maintained garten. 40 cottages populate rhe paradise garten together with a restaurant, massage & spa &Condi equipment. We found our "garten view" cottage and became up-graded to a ball room size bathroom including a big bathtub designed for 2 persons and a bottle of champagne which should be bought before arrival. If you like, you can easily get back to civilization with a 100 bath ride with a Tuk Tuk or walk 1-2 km to reach the beach and the tourist shops which is deserted during these pandemic times. After 5 days in Paradise, we say "På gensyn" to a friendly staff.

We only stayed one night as we had an early flight out. Quite a snazzy tropical-style resort for the price paid, although we didn't eat in. Very nice staff. Very nice spacious rooms. Very nice pool. It's a dry hotel although the staff don't mind you bringing your own drinks into your room. A stroll up the soi gets you to plenty of good local restaurants. We ate at the Kitchen by Matoy on the main road opposite the end of the Soi which was delicious and good value. And we enjoyed accidentally overhearing at the pool unintentionally hilarious conversations about Kardashians from some of our fellow guests ... but don't let that put you off the place itself!

On February 19th it was my birthday, so my Thai girlfriend decided to take me to this amazing resort together with a couple of her friends.
Since we got to Ban Sainai, until the moment that we left, host Honey looked after us the whole time. While we waited for our room, she got us some Butterfly Pea tea (brought by a colleague) which was amazing. Shortly afterwards, we were taken to our room on a golf cart. This was a nice detail, as we were tired from our car drive from Southern Krabi.
The room was spacious, starting by the porch, on which Honey made sure that I got a watermelon treat (my favorite fruit) that was simply delicious. As we entered the room, the nice office-like space at the right of the entrance popped to our faces, and later it proved to be very useful to do some photo editing in the computer. The bathroom had a nice sink and a big shower, but the highlight for me was the adhered space with a bathtub. While taking a bath, we enjoyed the view of the mountain either through the window on the wall or the ones in the ceiling! Finally, the bedroom was big, with a nice bed and a small area to sit down and relax.
Our bedroom was very close to the pool, having a clear view of it, we could easily decide what was the best time to go for a swim judging by how full of people it was. I truly enjoy the water, so this was a very important part for me (maybe something to mention when booking the rooms? Just an idea!)
This short stay was very relaxing, we took some picture of the beautiful resort while walking around the complex and enjoyed the refreshing and peaceful pool. Always with the attentive look of Honey, who tried to give us the best experience possible.
In the morning before the check out, we enjoyed a halal buffet breakfast. There was several types of breads, fruits, drinks, and option to have a nice meal in preparation for our road trip. I am not a muslin, and I must say that I did not notice any difference from the non-halal breakfast that I've had in other hotels. The food was simply delicious!
Ban Sainai was a wonderful experience, and we hope to see Honey and the rest of the team there the next time.

We stayed at the resort for 4days. Had booked the coconut cottage. The cottage was super clean with beautiful view. On arrival they provided welcome drink. Check-in and check-out process was smooth. Staff is really humble and polite. They understood our queries and provided us with whatever needed. Buffet breakfast was tasty and can order from their menu as well. Resort is quite with great view. Well maintained property and has huge pool with cleanliness everywhere. Really liked their design of the cottages and how they are committed to save the Mother Nature. No plastic bottles at all. They provide shuttle service to Ao Nang Beach every hour, which saves a lot of time & money. Once we had dinner as well, ordered Thai Massaman chicken curry with steam rice which was delicious. Overall experience was amazing at the resort. Would definitely prefer Ban Sainai again.

The resort is so relaxing! completely surrounded by well kept gardens and trees strategically planted to cover the few ugly buildings of the area. The rooms are spotless clean and the bed is very comfortable. We had a coconut cottage which had a magnificent bathroom. The pool is very nice. The smell of Frangipane and Jasmine around the resort is amazing. The breakfast is very good. Staff is nice and polite. It's 25min walk to the beach but conveniently located just out of the busiest and more touristic area of Ao Nang which means better prices and better restaurants. The free shuttle from the resort to the beach has not a very convenient timetable but you could always take a tuk-tuk or walk. Since most trips include pick up and drop off we didn't use it much anyway. We went in February and there weren't any mosquitos.

Stayed here for 6 nights after visiting phi phi islands. Arrived in a massive thunderstorms but staff checked us in quickly and efficiently before a golf cart with weathershields took us to our bungalow. We booked an adult only bungalow overlooking the pond and couldnt fault it. Room was spacious, air con effective shower pressure good, wi fi effective throughout and great view out. The breakfast was from 6.30-10.30 and superb. Good buffet selection but with added egg, pancake selection a la carte, just ask for what you want. Hotel is eco friendly, good quality shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in dispensers in shower, so no plastic, and they left a crate of glass bottled water in each section each morning for you to help yourself and return empties. Regular recycling bins around resort. Pool area simply stunning, peaceful and clean, and had fantastic massage from tim, at very reasonable rate. Every member of staff we encountered were polite friendly and hospitable. Grounds were stunning and well kept, which was amazing in these difficult times. Beautifully manicured with water monitors, kingfishers and humming birds all to enjoy. Would love to stay here again

Absolutely loved this resort. It's located 5 minutes walk away from the main street and 20 minutes walk away from Ao Nang beach. It's away from the street buzz but still close to everything. You can use the resort shuttle to the beach and back if you don't feel like walking in the heat. Scenery of the resort area is just beautiful and very well taken care of. Pool area has a great view of the cliff and nature around you. Altough sunbeds could have been adjustable. Hotel doesn't serve alcohol but we knew that in advance and were not bothered by it. They have a nice selection of mocktails and smoothies. Would recommend to try kiwi smoothie and Pina Colada from pool bar. Cottages were nice looking, clean and spacious. Staff was very helpful, friendly and attentive. Breakfast had enough variety and you could also order from a la carte menu to get freshly made breakfast. Would definitely come back again!

I visited with my boyfriend from the UK for 2 weeks and I fell in love with this beautiful resort as soon as we arrived. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, it was my birthday during our stay and nothing was to much to ask they came and sang happy birthday to me which was so warm and kind. Every morning you would be greeted with smiles and waves. The pool was incredible and so relaxing, we ate at the poolside regularly and food was always fresh and tasty. We visited the spa and had the couples massage which was incredible. We absolutely loved the breakfast especially the eggs benedict and to sit by the lake was so lovely and peaceful in the mornings whilst we ate. We stayed in the coconut cottage and it was fantastic so spacious absolutely loved the bathroom big round bathtub and so clean and quiet. The resort was paradise. We loved it that much we have just booked to stay again in January 2022 we cannot wait to see you all again

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The pool was a lot of fun and was very refreshing after a walk down to the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pillows were a little too big, but the bed was comfortable overall. The roti for breakfast was a-roi and the music during breakfast was relaxing. The resort is beautifully nestled against the cliffs in ao nang. The street food by the resort was the cheapest and the best. We loved it here and found it perfect to celebrate our honeymoon.

Hi, yes renovation still going on and should be finished by December this year. Noise is to be expected from 08:00 - 17:00 hrs.daily. breakfast is Halal as well as other on-site restaurant e.g pool sala or in room dining too as hotel is based on dry hotel policy.

Since we do not have our own laundry therefore we use other company service in which we are sorry to say we do not know what detergent they use actually.
