We stayed at pakasai resort for 3 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. It is just as beautiful as the pictures on the website show. We stayed in the Honeymoon Chalet and it was amazing. The room was huge with a big comfortable bed, huge bathroom and balcony with a swing chair. The balcony is surrounded by trees and the room decoration is so pretty. The even had rose petals in the bathtub and on the bed with our towels shaped like elephants when we arrived.
The staff are very friendly and so helpful. We were greeted at reception with a drink and a cold towel and during our stay we had needed to use the phone a couple of times to ring our airline and they were very accommodating. They even set up a little fan for my partner and gave him a cold towel while he was making the calls.
The breakfast buffet was very nice. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by trees and a little waterfall. The food was very nice and there is a big selection.
The pool is lovely, lots of beds and towels and a pool bar with nice food and drinks.
The location is great also. It is right beside all the shops and restaurants and the beach is a 5 minute walk. There is a 7/11 across the road which is very handy.
I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Krabi.

I stayed here in March with my husband and elderly parents. The hotel is in an excellent location on a side road off one of the main roads but literally walking distance to everything.
Our room was lovely, kept very clean by the staff and had a very roomy relaxed feel to it.
Breakfast was lovely set next to the gardens, very peaceful and pleasant surroundings, loads of choice of food and regularly replenished,as we were there when covid19 was around, the staff were doing their best to keep things clean, using sanitizer and had hand gel for the guests to use all dotted around, not just in the restaurant but all areas of the hotel which was reassuring for the guests.
Pool area very nice, bar staff at the pool very friendly and worked hard all day serving and keeping the guests happy, especially during happy hour!
Hotel reception staff all friendly and very helpful especially when we had to change our flights home as our original ones had been cancelled, one member of staff, lovely young girl actually lent us her mobile to use, once again above and beyond what was expected!
All the staff in this hotel were friendly, happy and very helpful and interacted well with myself and my family!
Unfortunately for us,we had to leave early due to the covid virus and our flight change,we will definately be back as we would like to stay here again in happier times when the world has recovered!See you next year we hope!

This was a nice resort in Krabi. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. The included breakfast was good and the resort itself is very pretty with nice trees and a small pond in the middle. The pool was also very nice and clean and we enjoyed lounging there for a couple of evenings. The location was great, we were minutes walking from Ao Nang beach where there was great shopping and restaurants (if you are craving something other than Thai food - try the King Restaurant for indian food or the Crazy Gringos restaurant for Mexican food, both were really good!). A couple of negatives about the resort - the rooms were nice but the bed wasn't super comfy and the bathroom needs some updating. There were also a few mosquitoes in the room which was annoying. Other that that it was a great stay!

I stayed here a couple of times before some 15 years ago. The pool area is refurbished and the guys in the pool bar are great, the rooms are still ok. And the great thing with this hotel is the jungle feeling, with palm trees, and other vegetation between the different houses. It is great compared to big blocks of hotels, with balconies next to each other. Here you can hardly see another balcony from yours.
The problem is service and menus. The breakfast spread is big, yet I struggled to find something to eat. And there were few changes over the two weeks we stayed. It was probably worse for the kids as the really wanted pancakes or waffles, which only appeared every 4-5 days. In stead they had french toast which none of the kids seemed to like and just piled up. Same with fruit as it was only water melon and pineapple. Mango and other more expensive fruit didn’t appear that often
The lunch food ess Aldo just badly made and didn’t really taste nice.you could visit the closest hole in the wall and get better food. And the service was soooo slow. Getting food took very long, and servi (and sales, as they needed to sign people up for hotel events) took long.
A plus for the kids is the monkey family that visits the pool area everyday, by their own choice, it’s not a show.
But Pakasai still gets a 3.

Kor at the front desk is super friendly and took care of all our needs.
Pasakai is eco friendly with no use of plastic bags, free refills for water bottles and also they let you use their bicycles free of charge to go explore the area.
Our room was nice and clean the bed super comfy and we also had a bath tub on the veranda. Location wise very good and they also have nice pool.

Pakasai resort is conveniently located close to Ao Nang beach with plenty of food and shopping options. Seven-11 and several massage places are nearby as well.
The resort itself is nice with very good rooms. We stayed in a suite which had a nice outdoor tub.
There are some issues which they can work on:
1) Very limited room service menu which closes at 9.00 PM!
2) I traveled with an infant and apart from a small swing, there was no children play area
3) The pool closes too early at 7 PM.

Hotel is dated. The location isn’t horrible but not exactly right by the beach like the map makes it sounds. The “ocean view rooms” are a scam and you have to hike up a so many stairs to get to it. Some rooms are up a hill and our bed wa a basically concrete. The room was filled with ants-shower walls etc it got into our luggage. The staff is friendly and great happy hour. I would never stay again. If you are already booked email reception and ask for a room not up a freaking hill.

Dear Khun Taylor, We are truly sorry to leave you with numerous issues. We must thank you for sharing your detailed comment with us as they will definitely help us to focus on improvement effectively. Please rest assured that issues raised related to ants will be dealt with very urgently as none of them are the level of service and quality we always strive for. Our "Ocean Chalet Suite" is the located on the hillside in order to have the best view from your private balcony as explained on our website. We do understand that it may take some effort to get to the room, but we believed that it mostly worth the walk. Thank you again for valuable feedback. Looking forward to welcoming you back again to “Be at Home with Nature at Pakasai!” Kind regards, The Management Pakasai Resort

The resort is in a great location. Just tucked away from the main hustle and bustle, but not out of reach of beach and bars. There is a 7 Eleven opposite to stock up the fridge in your room. The room was a generous size with a balcony looking over the greenery and pool. You get 2 bottles of water a day and complimentary tea in the room. The only thing I missed in the bathroom was a shower cap and the shower gel dispenser was empty. The pool area was great and you could order snacks and drinks at the bar. If you wanted a massage or book a taxi/trip the main reception will sort it for you. The staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. Suitcases were taken to our room and when we departed they even offered to bring them to the lobby. Great stay.

Booked 4 rooms four months in advance, only to arrive at the hotel and be told that due to an error with their booking system, the hotel was full and there were no rooms for us.
They put us in a hotel over the road that was a serious downgrade, which we decided to accept due to only staying in AoNang for three nights, and they said we could eat breakfast in the Pakasai and use their pool etc, which we did. The pool area is good. The breakfast was ok. They gave us a complimentary set meal also, which to be honest was a pretty poor offering, and judging by the number of other diners it’s safe to assume that most go elsewhere to eat, which is a shame as the restaurant is in a beautiful setting.
They also provided a free shuttle to our next destination (Ko Lanta) by way of apology for the booking mess up.
The reservations manager did seem genuinely sorry, and said this had happened to maybe three customers, and I see one of them has already left their review.
So, if you actually stayed in this resort you’d probably like the pool and jungle type setting. Obviously I didn’t get to see the rooms..
I’m hoping this was a genuine system error that caused our reservation to be lost, and not just overbooking and lumping us into the dump across the street, sacrificed for only holding a three day booking. Of course what should have happened, and would have helped to smooth things out, is an upgrade to a nicer hotel, or at least one of equal quality. This didn’t happen and was a lost opportunity by management to save the situation. They did promise a good deal and said they’d really look after us if we ever returned in future. Lol. Sometimes you just get one chance, and Pakasai - you blew it!
