Stopped here as a basic no frills cheap one night hotel before transferring over to Railay the next day.

If all you need is a cheap layover this is fine. It's excellent value for money but don't expect anything special. You get what you pay for and previous negative reviews can only because some people have unrealistic expectations and expect too much for what they are paying for.

Very close to loads of places to eat and drink, supermarkets and a short walk to Ao Nang beach where you can get longtail boats from.

Stayed 3 nights and was very happy with this hotel and the service offered by the staff.
It is located just off the main drag away from the main Ao Nang ferry point but up a short side alley which amazingly cuts out all the noise.
Rooms are clean and comfortable. We stayed in standard double which is the smallest but more than adequate.
Other rooms may have balconies or face the terrace on the 4th floor.
There are no meal options but they offer cold drinks/beer at reasonable prices as well as hot coffee.
We were happy at this hotel.

Lovely staff great location, the hostel opposite is so loud that our room was vibrating the bass from the music from koko hostel is ridiculous. You got to feel sorry for all hotels near by. Nice view from roof terrace, at this hotel you ask reception to turn on the water when you want a shower. Take earplugs if you are going to stay at the hotel. Like I say this is no fault of the hotel, however the hotels should get together to see the people involved.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Clean, spacious rooms with air con and a balcony with a view of the street. Total bargain for the price 456per night. Ladies on the reception were ace they provided all information and their own recommendations of places to visit and told me where to go without getting ripped off with prices. Can see why this would sell out quickly in peak season. I will be coming here again

Stayed 3 nights and was great for the price. 5 minutes walk to the beach, right next to lots of restaurants. The room was big, the bed comfy and the bathroom worked perfect! They provided a big amount of shampoo.

No safety deposit box. Phone stolen from room. Basic hotel, good location not too far from the beach, room was quiet. But my phone was stolen out of my bag. Yeah I should have locked it up or taken it with me, but that does not excuse staff stealing from guests. I wanted to put the do not disturb sign on the door, but there wasn't one.

Service: all staff here were very friendly and helpful, no complaints!
Rooms: best budget room we stayed in in Thailand. We were actually taken back when we walked into our room and saw the size of it. Everything was very clean, the bed was huge, a/c worked great, plenty of space to dump our stuff, fridge with water. The downside was having a wall for a view, but that didn't bother us.
Location: the hotel is very close to the beach. Our friends paid 3 times as much for the Best Western and their hotel was pretty far uphill. The hotel is very close to shops and restaurants and some amazing street food stalls. Check out the stall 'Farina' were a very friendly and smiley young boy named Kem works.

The hotel did not have our reservation! Although we had booked through Agoda and fully paid for it. After a lot of discussion, we were offered the sister hotel J. Mansion. We had to lug our heavy baggage all the way up 4 floors as the hotel did not have a lift.

The rooms were nice and clean with all basic amenities provided. The staff were helpful and very informative. Breakfast is available at additional costs. Very close to the beach and right in the middle of the main shopping and dining area. There is a scooter for hire shop just next to the hotel.

Please note: You are not allowed to enter the hotel with you footwear. You will need to leave them at frontdesk whenever you get back to your rooms. You are allowed to carry them back only in the night once the front desk is closed.

We stayed here at the beginning of september 2012. There is some construction going on in front of the building, but at this time of year there is in most of Thailand. The room is Awesome 1 of the best we stayed in on our 4 week travel of the country. The only bad point I could say is there is no elevator, but this is nothing to do with the room.

We asked to stay on the top floor as the whole roof is your private balcony with great sea views. The roof has 3 rooms available, we were lucky to get the biggest room and the other 2 rooms where empty so we had the whole roof to our self. This really did make our trip as it becomes 1 very large private balcony. The rooms on the other floors are still very good but have a small balcony in comparison.

Trips can be purchesed from reception at a great price, infact we checked the price of boat trips with a lot of places and found our hotel to be the cheapest. The owner is very good he dosen't lie he is honest which is strange for Thailand (most people try to scam you).

Hi! from the airport you can take the bus, minivan or taxi. I'd recommend you the bus, easy one and cheap, they leave you in front of your hotel.

I didn't notice any safe inside my room. I don' think they provide one but so far for my 3 nights, all my electronic devices were safe when we left for island hopping. You might want to bring a luggage with lock to store all your belongings. Hope it helps.
