We can deal with the bugs in the bathroom, the paper thin wall and even the towel for a bed sheet, its an inexpensive bungalow after all. But the stains on the sheets, the broken and leaking toilet, the slow and often times absent guest service are reasons to avoid this place. I rather spend a little more then have... More

Super cute bungalow next to te main road, but without all the noise of the street. Private space in a beautiful garden. Managed by a locals the atmosphere is really nice. I booked an A/C bungalow ad it was clean, with towel and a fridge. Only minus was not having a towel for blanket. Recommended! :)

Waited over 20 minutes in the reception before anyone came and checked us in.The room smelled so bad of the mold. We had ants in the bed and all over the bathroom, poop from the previous guests in the toilet, stained sheets and dust under the bed. The shower was so full of crap that only a few drops of... More

We took a chance on this place and we booked it through Agoda on a whim without seeing many reviews for the fan rooms. It was a BAD decision. We're well accustomed to budget accommodations, we regularly stay in hostels or cheap hotels, and we're generally easy to please. As long as a place is clean and somewhat comfortable we... More

We stayed here for 1 night only. The room was not so expensive but the room was not very appealing: dim fluorescent lights, minimal cleanliness, separate beds for a double room. The location was ok, but you still have to walk some distance to the main road. The positive things about this place is that it is quiet and the... More

Good value basic accommodation. Stayed in an air con bungalow with only A fan to save the pennies. Cheaper than most other places on the main street & only a 5 min walk. Good breakfast & staff are friendly. Hardly a honeymoon location but perfect for backpackers looking for a quiet location.

We booked online. Arrived at no one was there and stood for 15 minutes at an outdoor desk (like a tiki bar or something). We weren't sure if the Bungalow was open but after a little bit someone pulled up and showed us our room and asked if it was acceptable (which was nice; another reviewer had problems with their... We paid 300 bht for a fan room. The fly screen wouldn't stay on the window, which meant lots of mosquitoes could find their way in. The toilet was leaking after you flushed it. The cistern was continually making noise. There were ants in the bathroom in and around the toilet bowl (which we discovered after we had been there... More

Beautiful location appr. 10min from the town centre - not the place to be if you don't like walking or do not have a bike. I enjoyed being separated from the crowd and noise, and the view from around the bungalows are amazing (limestone cliffs & lush green). The staff's knowledge is limited but sufficient, and they were very friendly.... More

We chose Ao Nang Friendly Bungalow based on a small number of online reviews, most of which were very positive, but we had little idea of what to expect when we got there. But like the Travelfish review said - if you're going to call yourself "friendly bungalow" then you should be really friendly ... And we were not disappointed,... More
