The hotel is a bit far from the busy street but the swimming pool is quite nice. We booked a deluxe with pool access. A big room with comfy bed and is perfect for us to jump into the water straight. However, the room is very humid and smelled moldy, the air conditioning with loud noise when turning on. You...

My first impression were two elephants on the bed neatly folded as a welcome gesture. I enjoy a dip in the swimming pool which is small & narrow but I like it nonetheless. Two famous beaches - Ao Nang & Noppatara are a short walk away, the latter is practically at the doorstep of the Buri Tara. Breakfast gets a...

Stayed here back in 2014 actually by myself on a trip to see Krabi during the off season. Just remembered I to post a review now after talking about re-visiting Thailand. To start off, check in was very quick, I was told everything I needed to know about the hotel. When I asked about Phi Phi Island tours and places...

Buri Tara Resort was a great value! It's a 10 minute walk from the beach and central part of town but still surrounded my many restaurants and bars. The room was spacious, beds were large and clean, and the bathroom was large as well. We didn't use the pool but it looked a little small without a lot of direct...

Wifi is not working/very slow. Pool is being repaired, so you can't use it and you have breakfast next to guys with drills. Rooms are in poor conditions (see photos). We wanted to leave 1 day earlier and asked for (even a partial) refund, but we were rejected. Maybe it's better in high season when everything is fixed, but I...

I really enjoyed my stay at the Buri Tara. The hotel staff were so kind and friendly. The room was very comfortable. It is in a very convenient location. A perfect place to stay for a budget vacation.

Having stayed at the hotel on several occasions over the past 5 years was very disappointed this visit. The front desk staff are excellent. It's a good location and a nice pool. Unfortunately the rooms suffered very badly from condensation making the tiled floor a danger to walk on. When trying to order room service was told they didn't speak...

The pictures are very deceiving, the place looks bigger than it is. It's not in a great area, but is close to the boats that take you to the nice beaches. Price is right but our room and bathroom smelled like toilet water. The 15 Asian guests down the hall were incredibly rude/loud all day and night, and had kids...

We booked the direct pool access room for 4 nights stay. We brought our own floats and left it at our balcony to dry after use. Unfortunately one of our doughnut float was stolen from our balcony. This hotel is not safe at all. And the receptionists are very rude. When we asked them about our pool float, this lady...

This was the perfect hotel break after a long string of hostels. Jetstar lost our bags on our way to Krabi from Australia, and Buri Tara's staff went above and beyond to help us out. Such a friendly crew and if I'm ever back in town I'll definitely be staying here.
