Fresh, colorful and modern hotel that is located in Aonang, just 5 minutes from the Ao nang beach (by car), 2.6 km from Nopparat Thara Beach and 17 km from Wat Kaew Korawaram (Krabi Town). This large hotel occupies a fabulous location with stunning limestone cliff views, Offering an outdoor pool , playground. There's also a restaurant with terrace seating, plus a lobby bar. Rooms come with private balcony, air conditioning & private bathroom. Because of small and tidy rooms, this hotel is a perfect choice for business guests. As a family on vacation you may have some difficulties here, with the room's size. Another weak point about the hotel is the location of the pool, it's not located on proper location and you don't feel convenience when you are in the pool, because the pool can be seen from reception. The property offers free parking, we rented a car and we used the hotel's parking easily. 7-11 shop is a short walking distance from the hotel. A professional massage shop (with good service and reasonable prices), named "Chiang Mai Massage" is just 7 minutes away from the hotel. Ao nang Mosque Market is adjacent to the property. If you want to rent a motorbike, there's a good motorbike rental 3 min away from you, it's called "Mr. Kord No. 2".

To start with this is a Ibis 3* budget hotel. However, it's one of the best hotels I've stayed in. We were in room 325 overlooking the pool and cliff. It was on the small size but we managed easily for 14 day. There was room under the bed for cases. The room had a safe, air con and tea making facilities, they even provided two bottles of water daily. The room was kept spotless and cleaned every day. The hotel itself was bright and airey. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice, I sampled the Thai offering every day and was excellent. The hotel provided sun bed towels free which could be changed when required. The outstanding feature of this hotel was the staff, every one of them had a smile and couldn't do enough for you. A big shout out for the shuttle bus driver who was outstanding. All in all an excellent hotel. The downside to this holiday and for those people who travelled with TUI from Manchester is the transfer from the airport which took 3.25 hours with a toilet break, not what you want after an 11 hour flight. On arrival at the hotel which was at 09.15 you couldn't book into your room till 2 o'clock. You could use the facilities but it meant getting changed in the toilet. The hotel managed to get us into our room at 12.45. On departure, at 2 in the morning, the hotel provided a breakfast box which was good for the transfer back to the airport. TUI need to sort this out. On summary we'd definitely go back to this hotel it was that good.

Stayed here recently for a short weekend vacation. Overall I was impressed by the hotel - the public areas are spacious and modern, the rooms are newly-refurbished to a high standard and it all feels a lot more 'upscale' than I was expecting from an Ibis. The staff at the front desk are particularly welcoming and friendly and helpful.
The location is a little away from the beach, but the walk is short and easy (and they offer a shuttle service on the hour) and this means that the hotel environment is nice and peaceful.
Would happily stay here again.

Good place and price is not too expensive to stay in Aonang beach area. Staff is friendly and kindly help you. Hotel is under ACCOR group but notice is 1)There are 2 pillows in room( each person,there is no spare pillow) 2)There is 2 big towels in room ( each person) 3)There is shampoo and bath gel type as 2in1 ( not seperates shampoo and bath gel) 4) Almost Thai TV program in room is always malfunction.

We chose the Ibis Styles Hotel Krabi for its location and its budget hotel brand. Had a bit of a check in issue as we were asked to deposit 3500 bahts as deposit. The hotel should collect the email ids of guests booked and inform in advance of their policy. And the check in staff should inform the guests in the same moment that they can pay deposit in bahts or dollars. Would have prevented us from protesting. Bahts returned at end of trip doesn’t make sense. The front desk manager added to our angst with his sarcasm. But kudos to the operations manager, post my review on trip advisor, she came searching for us to apologise and hear details of our issues and address them with her team.
The hotel has a good shuttle system to the beach which leaves and arrives on the dot. The interconnecting rooms makes it easier for families and friends to the stay enjoy together.
We left the hotel with a sense of being redeemed and good memories.
P. S. The thai government needs to sort out the extreme overcharging by the cabbies and tuk tuk owners. I hope the tourism industry addresses this issue.

Great view of the mountain, if you book it or request it, its worth it!
Room was standard of a chained hotel, very clean and comfy bed!
Pool open from 7am til 7pm.
Shuttle ran every hour going to and from town.
Breakfast was traditional thai food, the egg station outside was great. Omlette and rice was satisfying.
There's a tour desk inside offering all tours and moped hire. You can also ask them to haggle prices for you.
The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the beach / main road and a 20 minute walk back up hill.
The noise from the next rooms can be heard in yours and also from the corridor so if you're a light sleeper take earplugs!

I visited this hotel on 15th Jan 2020 with very bad experience in room. 1.they do not provide toiletries so carry your toothbrush toothpaste shaving cream conditioner everything except for shower gel. The bed size is very very small in a double room.. It's not even a queen size bed.. Don't expect wardrobe to keep your stuff in room it's an open shelf very tiny. And if your the travel desk at reception gets to know you are from India they are racist and won't give you scooty on rent. Surprisingly the rule says if you carry water bottle provided in your room with you outside hotel they will charge you 40 bhat (this rule is written in room) . So they need empty used bottles also (maybe to refill with tap water)... Ruined my 1st anniversary

I guess you are not familiar with the concept of ibis hotels; we are a budget hotel and we strive to provide quality accommodation at a reasonable price. Our rooms are designed keeping in mind guest comfort and space utilization, this combination allows us to provide our guests with a quality accommodation at a reasonable price point. Our standard bathroom amenities include a 3 in one ( Shampoo, conditioner & body wash), shower cap & earbuds. Accor being a socially responsible hospitality operator believes in minimizing the carbon footprint of our properties and as part of this initiative we use glass bottles in room as complimentary amenity . As for the non-availability of scooters for rent ,its got nothing to do with your race but rather a challenge we sometimes face with supply and demand. Located about a kilometre away from Ao Nang beach, the Ibis is a purely functional hotel for the budget traveler. If you are driving, parking is limited but free. Rooms are tiny, but meet basic needs, especially cleanliness and hygiene, as expected of an Accor property. The breakfast spread is quite good and at little over THB 175, is actually good value for money. Staff are well trained and friendly.

Simple and comfortable hotel. The room we had was not large, but well designed with a slightly elevated bed, where you could stuff your luggage under the bed. There was a small balcony, so you could hang your swimsuit out to dry. The hotel has a good location where the beach is within walking distance (Scandinavian walking-speed will get you to the beach in 10 min. or so). There was also laundry services just outside the hotel (at a per kilo basis) The bar/restaurant at the ground floor make a delicious Virgin Mohito. On each floor when you walk from the elevator to the rooms there is a little noise that asks guests to keep quiet - most people are good at doing this; but I think I would be nice if the sign was a little larger. The entire room is tiled, which is very convenient at a beach destination. Be aware that some areas have VERY slippery floors, as the tiles look like polished stone for walls, rather than floors.

Ibis style krabi is amazing hotel. The swimming pool is great. Breakfast buffet is more then enough.the staff is very very friendly which makes you feel like you are in a home away from home. They have shuttle to the beach every hour from Morning to 9pm night. Just a suggestion it would be better if you can give shuttle every 30 min as if you miss a shuttle you have to wait for another hour to take another one and the beach is far away from he hotel around 1.5 km. If you can walk that much it then it is not a problem. All and all a perfect place to stay Very nice place to stay in krabi. ***** from my side. Fantastic staff and hotel.
