I live an hour away and have enjoyed all the 4 weekends of staycation I had at The Capuchin. Rooms are quite big (very important for me), well decorated and were always very clean. The staff is friendly and very professional at the same time. Parking was always easy available.

We stayed here for 5 nights and were really surprised at how much we liked the hotel. The rooms are very modern, quite well planned out, as appose to a lot of other hotels in Thailand where the toilet is in the shower, this is not the case. The reception is in the coffee shop but who cares, it's a budget hotel. For the price you pay for this hotel, the standard of cleanliness and modern rooms in this hotel is far superior to a lot of other places in Thailand. I highly recommend staying here if in Ao Nang. Plus free well stocked minibar, which I thought was great.

It's a new hotel with less than 20 rooms. Room is spacious and located in a convenient location. About 5 min walk to beach. Rooms is clean and modern. However, there is no lift but staircase, if you are staying on the top floor, ie 3rd floor, you have to drag your luggage up the stairs. There is a convenient store and cafe below the hotel with a few massage places nearby.

I stay here at June for my holiday. I pay cheap price for this hotel. love to stay in this hotel. I Stayed 2 nights. It's near to the moslem food. And not too far from the ao nang beach. It's not too crowded and noisy. I love the balcony. It's fun ti stay here. Unfortunately there is no lift/elevator in here. Actually almost in all hotel neither in phuket nor ao nang have no lift/elevator. But that's fune. The staff is good. It will be better if they could offer the bell boy to bring my stuff.

At last! A real 3 star that does not try to be a four star but, instead, offers absolutely outstanding (for a 3 star) service. Big, modern rooms, simply furnished but with everything you need, excellent shower, good wifi and, above all, the most friendly staff on the planet. No restaurant on site but a great little cafe and loads of restaurants just next door. Would I come here again? Absolutely!!

The 'lobby' is a cafe so do take note. We arrived earlier than the check in time and luckily, the staff allow us to keep our luggages at the cafe area. Room was pretty good and we have snacks/cup noodles refilled every day. The room is relatively clean, so not much complains. Staff were nice to help us with our luggage up the stairs as there is no lift. We carried our luggages down during the check out.

Will recommend if you do not mind climbing up and down the stairs.

The breakfast was nice, as I am not a fussy eater. Generally eat and well kept. Breakfast area is at An Apple A Day hotel which is right behind Capuchin.

Oh ya ! The Capuchin provides umbrellas and beach bag to store your stuff as well. Not exactly in the main district, but def worth the value. It was a little more quiet at night but that's what we want, to have a good night without disturbance. The beach is not too far away and there is an awesome store just 5-10min down the road on the right side.

Stayed one night in this hotel needing a place to stay before getting a boat to Railay beach and I must say after some awful experiences before coming with rude staff in Chang Mai, the staff in this hotel are so lovely and accommodating it was exactly what we needed to restore our faith in hotel staff!!

Surprised to find the hotel to look like a coffee shop but don't let that you be put off (firstly because the smoothies are the best ive had) and secondly because the rooms are stunning. Very spacious and modern with a huge comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Exactly what any traveller needs! Only downside I can think of is the lack of lift resulting in us walking up and down three flights of stairs but again the staff insisted upon taking our suitcases up for us so no real dramas. Cute hotel would stay again.

Pros:
• The hotel is located in a very convenient place. There are mini marts, money changers and food stalls right outside the hotel
• Rooms are big and clean. Staff was friendly to us
• The food stalls around the hotel has relatively good and cheap thai food. The same food at one of the bigger restaurants around Aonang would cost you 2x more.

Cons:
• The bed in the hotel is really hard. My back is hurting because its literally difficult to sleep on it. And even the pillows are flat!
• No elevator so if you get a higher floor, more climbing for you

Hi I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel. If you plan to take a taxi then purchase only 1 way transfer. Once in aonang area youll see that you can arrange a return taxi back to the airport for alot cheaper as they can arrange a shared tuk tuk or taxi with other passengers for significantly cheaper price.
