My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Agave Hotel! The sunrises were amazing, rooms clean and beach front location excellent ! Loved the laidback quiet town vibes ! Only one misunderstanding I had was there is no cooking facilities other than an outdoor charcole BBQ available for the single rooms, but the many town eateries were great !...

My husband and I come to this sweet little fishing town on the East Cape often and having been staying at different resorts to try to find one that meets all our needs. A quiet clean place with a great bed and shower. The hotel Agave exceeded all our wants. We stayed in the Casita. It was perfect :) It...

We traveled with a group for a friend's house warming party in gorgeous and quaint Los Cabrillos. In my opinion, the location can't be beat. We could walk outside our room and be at the heated infinity pool that appears to drift off into the waters of the Gulf of California. The beach just in front of the hotel is...

On the positive side, the place has a nice spot on the beach and the "casita" was very nice - clean, well-appointed. Depending on your perspective, the location is a positive or negative. It's on the edge of town - about a 20-30 minute walk or five minute drive to the center of town, where the restaurants and bars are....

We loved the Agave Hotel! What a location, nestled amidst palm trees on the ocean front. We stayed in the casita, which had a fully equipped kitchen and a very nicely furnished bedroom. We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the beautiful vista of the Sea of Cortez. Morning coffee on the chaise lounge under the palms with...

Quiet, peaceful, small inn right on the beach. We went to sleep every night to the sound of waves touching the shore. Danny, the manager, can direct you to all the best places in town. The infinity pool is steps above the beach and right outside your door. This is heaven.

I've been traveling to Baja, Mexico for nearly 30 years now and have stayed in a wide range of hotels - from flea bag shacks to 5 star resorts - but what I've always found to be the real lure of the Baja is staying right on the water. Problem is, most hotels that offer such accommodations come at a...
