Check in was excellent, with a young man taking us to our room and a tour of the hotel. The room furnishings were not new, but kept in excellent shape. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The television and WiFi worked perfectly. The hotel is older, but there were staff everywhere, cleaning and making sure that all was perfect for our stay. The spa facilities, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, massage were excellent. The restaurant food and service are 5 star, the breakfast omelet (Chile and cheese with creamy white sauce) is perhaps the best I’ve had in 35 countries,

For the most part, this is a very nice hotel, clean and modern and excellently staffed. But two features impaired my experience. First, the cheap flimsy blanket was too small for the bed. So you wake up multiple times to find everything bunched. This trivial economy is baffling for a hotel that aspires to be called elegant. Second, the maximum temperature in the shower was barely tepid. The bed and the shower are the key amenities for me. Even if everything else is great, if these two are not, I cannot give a top rating,

This hotel had all we could ask for. The staff was very very nice and assisted us in all that we needed.
Great massages, great service, and great food. Our hotel was right in there must of everything. We were able to just park our vehicle everything was so close.

We only stayed one night, but we had a great time. The receptionist was a friendly, clean hotel. Safe. The view from our third room floor was really nice. We had Breakfast in their restaurant patio area, it was really good, the wait staff was friendly and very helpful. Check-out was easy. Wish we could have stayed longer to go to the vineyard they have in Valle de Guadalupe, close to the main street, very walkable it's a free tour to theirs. We will defiantly come back and stay longer

Very filthy, pool is tiny, price is not worth the quality of hotel, even for Ensenada. View is of a dirt lot. It was the only place that had availabilty, usually we stay at Las Rosas, which, while it's a bit more money, is definitely worth it.

It looked a lot more promising from the outside, however everyone was pleasant to us. It's a pity they didn't really know the answers to any of our questions about things to do or see. They did direct us to the tourist center across the street. The hotel dining left a lot to be desired and the worst part of the whole thing was the hard-as-rock beds. It was a good distance from downtown, but we will not stay there again.

The hotel made a booking error and charged me for the day before my arrival. They would not let me talk to the manager to refund my money. The lobby was dirty and staff not helpful. Do not stay here!!

What's a fast pass and how do you get one?
Answer from Gabriel C
7 contributions3 helpful votes
A fast pass is a ticket you may request when you check out of most hotels in Baja California. It allows you to take the medical lane when you cross back to the USA. It is very fast most times. By that I mean that the waiting period is considerably shorter than if you drive across the regular multilane. Corona hotel is the only one that I know includes the fast pass. Other hotels you need to ask for it and they might charge you extra. I think is well worth it tho.
