Hotel Paraiso is not a bad hotel, however for what you get it is over priced. The room has no amenities so make sure you bring soap, shampoo, etc. It took several minutes for hot water to make it to the shower. I thought I would have to take a cold one. As for sleeping, the walls were VERY thin...

Had an excellent stop in an excellent hotel which appeared to be in the middle of nowhere. Ernesto the manager was excellent and should win some hospitality award. Worth a visit to experience the hospitality Thanks

This was the perfect place to stop for our motorcycle trip. We pulled in just in time to catch the sunset with a cerveza from the porch. I can't say enough about the view from the hill. Expansive comes to mind. Ernesto is a character and very helpful. Rooms were very clean and hotel is very well kept. Good food...

Located on hill near Colonet between Ensenada and Guerrero Negor in Baja California Norte. Good rooms, pleasant management, good bar and excellent breakfast. Not much in the area so this was a welcome sight when it appeared on the hill to our left on the way to Guerrero Negro. Relatively new and by itself but our luck to find it....

We had a wonderful over nite in Colonet. Ernesto couldn't have been more professional and caring. Dinner in the Dining room was wonderful. We enjoyed the outside tables, and atmosphere. I stay there again, if I was ever driving up and down Baja.

My friends had stopped here before, as they live in Baja and drive the road often. They had a room with two "Mexican Queen" beds, and a coffee maker. My room with one king size bed did not have the coffee maker. But, it did have bugs. Some were dead in the shower, some were live "pill bugs" on the...

Traveling north or south between Ensenada and southern Baja there are many long, long expanses of open road, and it is a narrow, windy road. More difficult in the dark and not safe when getting tired. My son and I stopped here after driving about 12 hours north from Loreto, still 100 miles or so south of Ensenada. The front...

I got kind of stuck on the drive from CA to Cabo San Lucas (Thanks a lot car) and was incredibly fortunate to find this hotel! Great rooms, great staff, especially Ernesto Martinez, the manager who made my stay absolutely as pleasant as it could be. Nice view too! Next time driving to southern Baja I may just make sure...

Stayed here on the way down the Baja California. Owner Ernesto and his staff looked after us very well. The room was clean and functional and the food (dinner and breakfast) was good. Their red house wine was very nice. I can recommend this place.
