Such a deal. Checking in at night was hard. The place is gated and lighting was poor so it was difficult to see directions for getting in and once in, I was unsure where the office for check in was. Some kind person who spoke Spanish actually walked along side my car to get me to the right place. It felt secure to park my car there.
I stayed in a large suite with a balcony. Everything was comfortable and clean. In the morning the view of the palm trees and water and blue skies and warm sun was beautiful and inviting.
Two things: I couldn’t find access to heat but there were plenty of covers and I was too tired to return to the office. Number two, the scented spray or cleaning products or something was too much. Thankfully I can live with it but many people might get sick from the overpowering fake scent. Even though it was cold, I aired the room by opening the balcony doors.
The people were lovely, the service was fair. I wanted to speak in Spanish and people were accommodating so that was fun for me.

This are villas right next to the ocean, 10 minutes from the city and 20 minutes from the wineries, service is always good, villas are all different, some are newly remodeled and offered are older but still clean and comfortable. This last time we got villa 25 not impressed to be honest but I've stayed at others that are much better. I hope they finish remodeling all of them soon.

Was in Ensenada the weekend of 2/08/2020. Had originally booked an air bnb in downtown Ensenada. Long story short, the road to the air bnb was not accessible.
Went to this hotel because it was recommended by my cousin. My family of seven decided to stay here. Five of them stayed in a two bedroom suite. Two of us stayed in a single room with a king bed.
The suite and the single room were very clean. A little outdated on the decor but there was construction going on so I'm assuming they're working on upgrades.
Staff at the hotel were super friendly. I liked that the hotel is gated.
Only complaint is that it was a little cold and the small heater in the room did not work. Would definitely stay here again ooh my next visit.

Hello, We are a bit different from your typical hotel. We have various types of rooms for your different needs: Studios, Junior Suites, Ocean front Cabins, all which have one King size bed for up to two guests, we also have bigger accommodations such as our 2-Bedroom Chalets that may have 2 to 4 beds depending on type of room that can accommodate up to 4 or 6 guests depending on type of room. The locations of each also vary; they may have Garden, Pool or Ocean view. You may also inquire about our renovated facilities and our rooms which have integrated A/C with heat capability. The location (essentially on the water), the cleanliness of our sweet bungalow and the proximity to the city center (about 10 car minutes away) of this Quintas would normally receive 4 stars from me, if not 5. However, on the day we were leaving, they did not return our USD 30 deposit for the key. They asked for a cash deposit when we arrived and said we would get the cash back upon checking out, but there was a lot going on at check-out that Sunday morning and we only remembered the deposit not being returned when we were well on the road and no longer in Ensenada. Despite writing several emails when we returned home and trying to contact them via phone as well, we received no responses and to this day have not received our deposit money back which leaves a bitter taste. Otherwise it was a nice stay and I would be tempted to return after the pandemic is under control but as long as the deposit story hangs in the air, probably not!

We were having a hard time finding your original reservation due to only using your nickname and your stay being from a year ago on October 11, 2019. If you will kindly notice, we do not have any other negative comments on not returning security deposits, we always do. Cash deposits are given back to main registered guests in person; we do not put cash deposits back in a card unless of course the deposit was provided by card originally. As you mentioned, you did not return for your deposit. We would gladly send these funds to your bank but our system does not allow us to make transfers to international cards. If you send us your contact information through email we can wire transfer the funds to you minus transfer costs.

The junior suites with kitchens were in need of significant upgrades and repairs. The sliding doors in our rooms were either coming out of the wall or the locking mechanism was broken so not secure. No deadbolts, no safes, first-floor room had no heat source, just a fan. Doors are splintering, one light fixture lens was falling out of the frame, the beds are very hard. The kitchen was well stocked (microwave, refrigerator, blender, toaster, coffee maker, some cooking utensils, range with oven) and the rooms were clean. The Tap Room restaurant was convenient but limited menu (especially for vegetarians) and no discount for those staying at the hotel. The coffee supplied was very good but no tea.

Excellent location, beachfront but room was in need of aesthetic maintenance. Cracking paint, missing or broken tiles in bathroom, broken door frame, closet door broken. As we were sleeping, 11:30 PM, someone entered our room, had a key, said room was given by a friend. He apologized and left key. AST check out, I reported the incident and staff person said last occupant “ said they would leave the room”! Obvious double booking.

Hello, thank you for your question. Chalets and Studios have their own Private parking. Parking for Junior Suites and ocean front bungalows is just outside of the rooms, but it is very safe since we have a gate that can only be opened by reception.
Guests may pay in cash using Mexican Pesos or U.S. dollars, may also pay with debit/credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover only). The dollar amount depends on the exchange rate of the day. Only credit cards are allowed to make a reservation in order to secure the room but you may pay with a debit card once the guest arrives at reception.
Hello, thank you for your question. All rooms but Studios and Junior Suites (Except Jr. Suites w/ kitchen) have one, fully equipped with kitchen or kitchenette utensils (plates, cups, glasses, forks, knives, spoons, pans) fridge and stove. Walking to town is about 30 minutes away so taxi or public transportation is recommended. There is only one public bus that passes trough just outside the hotel, so after 4pm taking it is not recommended because usually they are full.
