Casa Tuscany Inn is located in central LaPaz Mexico. It is very quaint and relaxing. The upper level room is spacious and sweet. The location of the Inn is very central and access to the City, Ocean and the attractions is very easy. We walked ever where! When we traveled outside the city we had a vehicle and a safe...

We opted for the expensive Romeo and Juliet room because of the private rooftop view of the Sea of Cortez it advertised. There was no such view, except through a small gap between equipment on other roofs, so we were disappointed. We weren't that impressed with the breakfasts, either. We enjoyed La Paz and the sea, but wouldn't stay at...

I am truely sorry that Casa Tuscany did not measure up to your standards. That can happen when we get a big build up. Sadly, we come with an expectaion that cannot be met. While the view from the roof terrace isn't unobstructed, there are in fact views of the sea from there. I am disappointed that you and your...

Easy to find, to park and warm welcome. Enchanting inside, haven for birds and travellers. Rooms colourful and comfortable with all that you could possibly need. Delicious breakfast on time as designated and unfussed clocking in and out.

Great place to enjoy La Paz. Walk to the Malecon, parking right outside the place. Carol is a great host with lots of information in the area. Breakfasts are wonderful, relaxing and enjoyable. La Paz is such a wonderful place to visit, so different from Cabo. Safe, walk the streets, watch the sunset. Carol has a good selection of wines...

We were disappointed. While the Romeo and Juliet room has a comfortable bed and lovely furniture, for $145 a night in La Paz (similar to prices we pay for a five-star B & B in Boston), we expected a shower that worked adequately and a view of the Sea of Cortez from our rooftop deck that wasn't mostly blocked by...

Dear Sue, Thank you for your review. I am sorry that your stay was not what you expected. Your comments are a reminder that there is always room for improvement. The shower issue has been addressed and corrected. I would have taken care of it sooner had I been aware of your on-going difficulty. Thank you for telling me about...

Our stay at Casa Tuscany was outstanding! Carol is such a wonderful hostess, she treated us as if we were family. Her breakfasts were very delicious. Carol gave us lots of suggestions on places to see and eat while we were there. We had a very relaxing time while we were there and will definitely visit there again.

I spent six nights at Casa Tuscany in March and I have no complaints. Carol is a wonderful host and the breakfasts are tasty and filling (the waffles were my favorite!). The B&B is located just off the Malacon that runs the length of the waterfront and is in easy walking distance to good restaurants, shopping, tour operators, etc. Carol...

Carol was a warm and welcoming host. She was helpful locating restaurants, points of interest in La Paz as well as Ibarra Pottery a wonderful place to buy handcrafted items made in La Paz. We were comfortable in our room, enjoyed the breakfasts that Carol provided, and the lounging areas within the courtyard. One morning Carol made a Danish pancake...

Casa Tuscany is a gem of a Bed and Breakfast in LaPaz. It is in a easy to find, central location. Our room, the Romeo and Juliet room, was spacious, quiet, and lovely to spend time in. We had 3 private patio areas all to ourselves. Breakfasts were delicious, always served with ripe fresh fruit. The best part of our...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Beyond the front gate and behind the walls of Casa Tuscany lies an inn reminiscent of a Tuscan villa. All guest rooms have private entry and open out onto a central courtyard where Costa's Hummingbirds rule. These friendly fliers are very curious and often buzz guests, especially if dressed in bright colors. The Malecon, or boardwalk, is only one block away and invites guests to stroll, bicycle, roller blade, or just sit on one of the many benches to watch the sea and the sunset. Casa Tuscany is close to just about everything in La Paz, encouraging visitors to get out there and experience the local culture without the encumbrance of a vehicle. Rooms are nicely appointed and all rates include taxes and a sumptuous breakfast. ... more   less
