We had never been to Loreto before but have visited the southern Baja several times. Direct flight from Calgary via Westjet, so it is easy for us to get there. Initially we stayed one night in Loreto ( see review of Posada Del Cortes Hotel) and drove to our friends place south of La Paz for a week before returning...

Beautiful hotel but the timeshare is a racket. I know it may seem very obvious that timeshares are scams but they have impeccable sales people ready to tell you all sorts of lies to get you to sign. I purchased my timeshare in Nuevo Vallarta after being solicited by someone on the street. My mom and I toured the property...

We felt like we were the only people at this beautiful remote oasis. The area is breath taking from the mountains, crystal clear water, resort and all it encompasses. The staff was incredible wherever we went. There were some special staff members we became acquainted with. Ramon was always helpful when we needed a paddle board, kayak or information about...

Resort was beautiful and very well run. Very inviting and friendly. Lots of activities and peaceful. Will definitely return. Paul who guided led stand up paddle boards and tour of the islands made every effort to take care of us. Thanks for a great 10 day stay.

Rogelio from restaurant Casa Mia was amazing. He helped my brother when he was sick and was always nice and happy. A perfect example of the whole resort! Everyone was great but he definitely made the greatest impression on our whole family

We adore Loreto and of course is a beautiful place with so many activities to do as a family but the way the staff treats you at this resort makes all the difference, checking in online always makes things soooo easy to start your vacation, Dulce at concierge is always willing to help us and guide us, she is amazing!...

Our second time here, we love this place! The location is beautiful, the service is excellent, we were pampered every day! Eduardo entertained us on stage, guided hikes, gave us cooking lessons, and led pool aerobics, what a bundle of energy. Gerardo made sure I had gluten free pasta on Italian food night, which I really appreciated. Benjamin is our...

Best tour ever! We joined a tour to watch for blue whales with Ramses as our captain. He did such an excellent job of spotting whales, but even better, explaining details about the whales and their behavior. In between spottings, he would tell us about their migration pattern, how big they were, what they ate, how to tell the difference...

The resort is located on the magical Danzante Bay surrounded by the Sierra de la Giganta mountains with amazing views of the islands. Walk down the beach to the fishing village - buy fresh tortillas here and get to know the locals. There are no other resorts here. The three restaurants here provide wonderful food for every taste with great...

If you are adventurous enough to drive down the Baja from San Diego, or you want to fly into the Loreto International Airport...... you have arrived at one of the jewels of the Sea of Cortez. With its mediterranean-like coastline, this wonderful resort is just what the doctor ordered. Elegant is the word that comes to mind.... right away. The...
