This was our first time to the region and to this hotel. It was beautiful and serene, nestled in the picturesque mountain desert. We have been to other Villa del Palmar in Nuevo Vallarta and Cancun and this one was by far the most quiet. We loved the isolation. The town of Loreto was charming and convenient to get to...

This was our fifth stay at Villa del Palmar, Loreto. Each visit has been a bit different with options the resort offers. A highlight for me this trip were the Yoga classes with Ivan in el santuario. The resort staff seems genuinely helpful from the maintenance staff to the waiters. Our maid, Marisol not only cleaned our room but decorated...

Loreto is a lovely town! Spent a week here with a girlfriend and had a fantastic time. THe staff was great ( although there was no fish at the barbq on the beach!) but they did make us a nice fish dinner another night to make up for it. The hiking and views from the golf course are amazing. The...

Secluded and quiet but with many activities to keep you occupied; golf, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, island excursions, and shuttles to Loreto. Staff was excellent starting with Holwing, Oscar, Pauli, Maria, Eduardo, Horge, and the women that were in charge of activities. So friendly and attentive, felt like family. Look forward to our next return visit.

Hello all - I'm just back from a 4 night stay at the Villa del Palmar (March 27, 2016-March 31, 2016). Overall, I would not recommend this resort. I'll start with my positive experiences. The location is very beautiful and remote, which I liked. We did the Magdalena Bay Whale watching tour with Wild Loreto and I can't tell you...

We spent two days at the Loreto Villa Del Palmar. The resort is lovely. Three restaurants. Free wifi. Free Shuttle to Loreto [about 20 miles]. Spacious pools, large hot tub. Walking and hiking trails. Golf course with 11 holes completed-more promised. Nice gym and spa. Family friendly-kids activities. We were there during Easter break so lots of kids having fun....

Beautiful property- clean, new, generous room sizes. Nice and quiet. Super friendly staff. Love that there are small kitchens in the rooms. Right on the ocean with a desert backdrop that is amazing. Quite far from town which is just great for us!

If you love hiking, this is the place for you. The secluded area where this resort is located is only accessible by a prívate road and makes it the perfect place for those who value privacy and nature. The rooms are comfy and give you a "home away from home" feeling. Staff is really nice too.

My husband and I took a road trip driving all the way down Baja, beautiful by the way. We stayed 3 nights in Cabo and headed to this resort for 3 nights heading home. I didn't want to go here at first because I thought I was going to be board, it seemed too quiet. Wow, it wasn't too quiet,...

Had a great time. The personal definitely made our trip a lot more enjoyable. Oscar and Manuel at the food and beverage area are great! I wanted something that was not on menu for that evening, no problem! They made it happen. Also Humberto the bell boy. I can't say enough of about this guy. Every time I needed something...
