Beautiful hotel staffed by amazing, friendly people. Food was great, room was brilliant. Only downside was leaving the hotel - area surrounding it not great but that's easily solved, just stay in the Boca Chica. Honestly can not fault it.

I recently spent some time with family at the Boca Chica hotel restaurant and bar in Acapulco. This refurbished hotel is mid-century modern cool. Furnishings are sparse but the hip factor is off the chart. It is a ways into old Acapulco, so if you are staying by the airport or in Puerto Marques, you will have quite a drive....

Great trip, especially with Ricardo. During the bus ride, he explained the history and current status of the Mayan. Lots of joking around. But still excellent stories about the history. The swim in the underground cave was better than I thought it would be; and not nearly as cold. Chichen Itza was fantastic. Ricardo told us about each of the...

No doubt that the charm of this hotel is driven by the architecture and the features reminding the glorious past of Acapulco The location is great for the ones who want to discover the 'old' Acapulco and the 'real' mean of what is a Mexican beach You also can enjoy to stay in the hotel where the pool and the...

Vintage hotel from the gold era of Acapulco operated by Habita. They have done a good job keeping it up, the rooms are confortable and nicely decorated. You will feel like you at back in time :) They have one restaurante by the pool with very good service and food. The hotel does not have a private beach, but it...

I was so looking forward to staying at this hotel and wasn’t disappointed. It’s like a trip back to a time when travel was glamorous, surrounded by original 50s features. If you love mid century modern you’ll love this place. The pool looks across Acapulco Bay; steps take you down to the water, where you can swim or snorkel. The...

A small, but really nice hotel. There is a public beach on one side, which was really full and a little noisy, but it is seperated form the hotel and on the other side of the hotel there is a little space which is really quiet with lovely views of Acapulco. I absolutely loved the garden room, the doors opened...

For a retro pricey hotel I found it lacking several things. First, the location couldn't be worse. There is nothing around the area but a local public beach and a few beach apparel stores. You will need to take a taxicab for at least 15 min to go to find entertainment and restaurants. Second, the rooms are too small with...

It was true romance from the beginning, everything is great about this hotel, the spa, the pool, the rooms, the restaurant, the views - go there, you will not regret it! Staff was very helpful and sweet, everything was calm and pleasant.

It's not luxurious, so don't expect a fabulous bathroom, infinite closet space, 47 pillows, high-end toiletries and a robe. (The shower arrangement, unless you're a solo traveler, may take some getting used to.) And the neighborhood is best-suited for visitors comfortable with "Mexico": This is the real thing (and the real thing, incidentally, is very cool, especially if you like...
