This has the most stunning place we have ever stayed at, and we have traveled extensively. The nature, the exclusivity, the privacy, the deco, the service...there is no words or pictures to describe its beauty. Private beaches and an enormous private nature reserve that you cannot see the end to. Crocodiles, zebras, antelopes, horses, whales, turtles, fishes of a thousand...

An incredible experience from start to finish. Aman group levels of service and quality in accommodation within a location that feels like somewhere between Jurassic Park and Game of thrones. There is really nothing like this place anywhere else.

Despite the ravages of Hurricane Patricia last October, this amazing eco-resort is back in its full 5-star glory. The highly professional, friendly staff has worked diligently the past few months. The grounds are abloom with hibiscus, La Loma luxurious as always, the bungalows gloriously appointed, the organic gardens flourishing, and every meal a delight. Gourmet menus and enjoyable wines selected...

I visited and spent three days at Cuixmala a few years ago with several friends. Everything we heard about the place, the location, the privacy, the luxury and the service was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had on a trip. Cuixmala blew every expectation we had out of the water. It Is a true Utopia, a piece...

We had originally made a reservation for a casita but upon arrival, saw they were miles away from the water/view which was very disappointing and a huge surprise. After being invited to the main house for dinner, we took a tour and decided to upgrade -- significantly, pricewise -- to a room in the main house, which is a knockout....

Whilst this property is unique and by some standards spectacular, some basic amenities were lacking. The good: The setting. The main building La Loma is an interesting piece if architecture. If you're not staying in a nearby bungalow, make sure you visit it for its location and architectural splendour; the cocktails and dinner on the terraces of La Loma were...

We appreciate you reviewing your recent stay at Cuixmala and sincerely apologize that your time with us did not meet the standard of excellence we pride ourselves on providing for every one of our guests. It is unfortunate that your visit coincided with an exceptionally severe storm which provoked flooding here and in the area; an unusual occurrence at any...

I will repeat what others have said and will say this place is amazing/fantastic/magical! We came with our children and stayed in the casitas. I'm not sure if we lucked out or if normal but we pretty much had the resort to ourselves. The activities such as baby turtles release at night, riding horses through coconut groves and on beach,...

You guessed it - we liked Cuixmala. I read about the original construction over 20 years ago and wanted to merely see Cuixmala. A travel dream. Now, we have seen it and we spent four nights there. The construction story and Goldsmith's life is worthy of a small museum on the property - a great story. We missed seeing construction...
