We returned from Huatulco on March 4, 2008. The area was amazing. It is so beautiful. Very scenic. Untouched. Not commercial. La Bottaca Beach is a must to see. A $2.50 taxi ride. Just ask to go to the Mud Bath Beach. You can get a mud bath/massage for $5.00. We spent two hours exploring. We walked the beach, had...

The crown pacific is dated but with a natural charm. Our room was HUGH with a balcony 12' X 21' with an amazing view one level down from the 7th floor pool. Nothing like watching a sunrise from there with a fine cup of local coffee We had friends staying at the barcelo and the gala the same week. They...

I chose this vacation because of the price, because it was in Mexico, and because I had never heard of Huatulco. The Crown Pacific is not the fanciest resort on the bay, but I would wager it's the best. The rooms are huge. The beach club was always teaming with activity. The staff speaks enough Engish to fulfil your needs,...

Reason for picking the Crown: We have gone to Huatulco for the last 4 years, and our stay at the Barcelo last year wasn't up to par to prior years plus the price increased this time so we decided to try the Crown. We stayed there from Feb 16-March 1/08, and were very happy with the hotel. The rooms were...

Eight of us just returned on the 28th from one of the most beautiful places I have been. Huatulco is truly amazing. I was initially disappointed in the Crown. As others have said, it is in need of some updating. Just some minor changes would help, like new furniture in the Lobby bar and rooms. However, after seeing the surrounding...

My wife and I just returned from a one week stay at the Crown Pacific (February 16 to 23, 2008). The Crown Pacific could be a really wonderful hotel, but unfortunately, the management has chosen to keep it a 2 or 3 star experience. As mentioned on this website, the rooms are large and the balconies immense (ours was over...

We stayed at the Crown Pacific in Feb /2008. Flew from Toronto via Sunwing. Great service as usual. Sitting on the Lt. side of the plane you get a magnificent view of Tangolunda Bay and all the Hotels. Have your camera ready when landing. It was awesome. We decided to take a taxi from the airport as there was only...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Huatulco began as a surfing community far, far off the beaten path. Today with a first class international airport, 26 kilometers of stunning coast, 36 white beaches, and nine beautiful bays- it's a vacation paradise and, still, a slightly more secret destination. Tropical jungle and exotic highlands combine at the edge of a grand, grand Pacific like you've never experienced it.
