The owners are very gracious. Exotic fruits and homemade muffins for breakfast yum. Rooms have your own patio and the pool is very refreshing. A 10 minute hike to a very private beach. The water was beautiful. The taxi's are very convenient and come within 5 to 10 minutes. The home is about 10 minutes from town. We had great... More

Personally i love our stay in Agua Azul La Villa. We didn't find any problem with the long distance from Agua Azul to downtown or to any beach (we came there with our car). Brooke and Rick - the hosts - are both Canadian with many years living in Mexico. They are very nice people with plenty good talks. They don't... More

We've been there for the weekend with my wife and we had a great time. The place really makes you feel you are in a magic place like Huatulco, cause it has this beach/jungle ambient with a very nice view of the sea and the sound of the waves coming into you. The room is nice and well decorated in... More

Lovely setting and really friendly hosts. Very comfortable accommodation and good healthy breakfasts. Good location for visiting the many beaches in this area, taxis cheap and readily available. Car hired for a day to visit Puerto Escondido and other beaches en route at a reasonable price.

We had a wonderful time at Agua Azul, with Rick and Brooke. The B&B is very comfortable, with daily maid service and nice breakfast. The swimming pool was a delight after the beach. In the morning you could see the sun rise on the ocean. The area is very quiet and secluded. There is a beach close by but apparently... More

Each room has a private patio with great ocean views. Breakfasts are fresh fruits and juice and muffins served in a common area by two very lovely, accommodating hosts, Brook and Rick. Rooms are very clean and although not located directly on a beach, a deserted and beautiful beach is just a 10 minute walk away. Located out of the... More

Wonderful place. Lovely welcoming hosts (Brooke and Rick), and their sweet dog Tango. Every room has its own terrace and A/C, and the units are very private. Delicious breakfast and an incredible mile long empty beach an easy ten minute walk away. Plus a pool! Nearby excellent restaurants and the beautiful Copalita archaeological ruins.

My husband and I began our trip to Oaxaca on the coast. I really liked Aqua Azul's website photos. I was very impressed with the response to my many questions and the helpful advice offered by the owners of Aqua Azul. They made the trip as easy as possible from the very inception of our time with them. All the... More

My wife and I stayed at Agua Azul for 11 nights in mid-February. We booked our trip 7 months in advance after reviewing all our options. We highly recommend this B&B for those that want a peaceful place to stay and a view that just has to be experienced. We paid for our 1st night of accommodation upon booking the... More

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at this B&B in a quiet residential section of Huatulco. The hosts, Brooke, Rick and Tango (a gorgeous golden retriever), were really fabulous. There are just six rooms, each with their own terrace, offering privacy and lovely sunrise views. The common area (dining room) has two refrigerators - one with sodas and... More
