It is about time that I write a review about my friend in the reservation office Ana Argentina Ramos. For many years and also several times a year Ana has taken care of my reservations and the reservations of all of my friends. She has always made sure that I am in the room that I requested and everything is perfect for me. Ana I will make sure that I bring pop tarts for you my friend! Thank you for your incredible service! You are awesome pop tart! Your friends in Tucson.
Great place. Inexpensive. Great all inclusive. The food however is very aimed at locals. It's only okay. That's fine. I'm good with that. With the money you save staying here you can venture out and try all the great local faire. Will definitely return. 💯 Definitely aimed at local clientele but if your a cheap Canadian Great way to experience Mexico. Love this resort. Stayed twice.
Excellent attention and service, all the staff is very friendly making you feel at home. Very good food of the place, beautiful facilities as well as the marabilloso showu. Excellent place for a good stay of your holiday. Highly recommended the place.
One of the best hotels I have been to. Clean, comfortable, friendly and all really fascinating breakfast is very rich. I recommend it there are many places to visit around, you can laugh with your family and take many photos and selfies too You can swim in the pool . it is really beautiful because it is very big and nice, is all you need to have fun
The Hotel Playa Mazatlán is far and away my favorite hotel in the world. I always vacation in Mazatlán,it my favorite destination and this hotel is where I chose to stay. I visited in January and returned again for a late April and early May visit. The staff is always attentive and ready to serve me greeting me with a smile. I have become good friends with many of them and I am always treated like family. My deluxe ocean view room had in my opinion the best view in Mazatlán. It was just steps away from the beach. I love this room and always request it. The many pools, jacuzzis and restaurants are my favorites in the entire city. I love to hang out daily under one of the many palapas on the longest beach front of any hotel in the Golden zone. I will be returning for another visit to Mazatlán in November and of course will be staying at this marvelous hotel. It is family friendly and I get excited just thinking about my next visits. If you are not staying at the Hotel Playa Mazatlán you are not receiving the best of what Mazatlán has to offer. I love this Hotel!…
Its my Favorite Hotel for 16yrs ! Its Beautiful ! The Adult jaccuzi is Amazing ! The views Breath taking ! But, in light of them Tripling their prices ! It looks like ill never be able to stay there again !!!😥
The staff at the Playa Mazatlan is fantastic! The first people you see are the people who help with your luggage and every single one of them is helpful, friendly, kind and thoughtful; not only when you first arrive, but every time you walk through the lobby. EVERYONE who works at the Playa Mazatlan is wonderful, from front desk staff, waiters, housekeepers... Any small issue we had was attended to quickly (such as new batteries for the remote control). The hotel is clean, has an excellent location, and it's also historic.
The hotel was very clean, covid restrictions were followed. Staff was really kind and fast. The food was really good too and the rooms were super clean! I did this trip with a friend and we felted super safe! There is a lot of security guards around the resort to be sure that everything is safe. It’s the best part of the beach, everything is clean!
Arrived at the hotel in the afternoon. Booked a family room through westjet for 2 adults and 2 kids. The front desk staff put us in a single room with one Queen sized bed. This was caught by the bell boy before bringing our bags up so we were switched to a double room(not a family Room). Beds were barely big enough for 2 people even an adult and kid in one bed was tough to sleep if you could get to sleep over the noise from the beach bands or the night clubs in both sides of the resort that would pump music until 4:00am Seems to me the locals got the best rooms (floor level to the pools/ beaches away from the noise) for what we paid for the vacation the and the prices listed for the rooms at the front desk we should have had an executive suite! Was an additional 1500US to switch to a decent room. As stated on every review back to 2020 very little English here. The locals selling hats and jewelry on the beach spoke better English and we’re more accommodating / helpful than the hotel staff. When we did manage to get into an a la Carte we were always served last. the shows had to be booked to get in. Was always the same dancing by the same group the whole time we were there. While standing in line at the buffet or bars we would get bypassed by locals ordering drinks and food from behind us. sometimes you would not get what you ordered because most of the staff couldn’t understand or speak English. The hotel is open to locals for day passes so it fills up fast on the weekends and they are not considerate at all. Food was always the same at the buffet. Cold and bland. Always Mexican other than hot dogs and dried out chicken nuggets. Signs were all Spanish so you didn’t know what it was most of the time! Luckily there were some good restaurants close by that’s where we ate even tho we payed the price for all inclusive. The swim up bar was closed the whole time we were there because the pool was too cold for the locals. Mazatlan is a great area and we will be back but will not stay at playa Mazatlan.…
Hotel Playa was an amazing resort for family's of all ages a sizes, many pools for both younglings and adults, and my good friend Walter is an amazing person to get everyone excited around the pool, playing games, dan icing, singing etc. I would definitely recommend this resort for anyone looking to spend some time away from home.
