We've traveled to Mazatlán for about 12 years, and have found this hotel to have the very best beach in town. Plus it's right in the heart of the golden Zone. You would be making a huge mistake to go to an all inclusive when...More
My wife and I stopped here as part of a bus tour... Decided to try the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. Location is very scenic, right on the beach, food was a bit Americanized, but the flavors were excellent.
Service could have been better, but...More

Not sure what you mean by mandatory fees. I have stayed at the Las Flores numerous times...not having had any mandatory fees applied to my bill. They do have a time-share program within the hotel associated with some of the rooms... but as a normal guest who just rents a room.. nothing mandatory attached. If you want internet... you pay as you need. I see another answer talking about beach umbrellas and chairs. That is common all along the beach... if you want to rent chairs and an umbrella... vendors have them. Las Flores has grass roofed cabanas out front...they are free

In the photos I have seen there don't seem to be many palapas. Does anyone know how many?
Is there a section of the hotel that is quieter? We want a quiet room.

Sorry for delay, I don't think there is a quiet area. Because the doors have no buffers to absorb the noise,
It's noisy when your neighbours doors close. Try to get a room that does NOT adjoin another.
