We have stayed here at least a dozen times and it is always a wonderful experience. Glenn and Sharon are so welcoming. It feels like your own home. The location is perfect to view the ocean or walk to Centro Historico. The home is beautifully decorated and the beds are so comfortable. Casa de Leyendas is much nicer than staying...

My wife and I have stayed here several times before, as we drive to and from Puerto Vallarta. Our experience is always the same -- high quality of comfort and service from a caring staff. Every kind of decoration, from statuary to photos, to paintings, hangings, etc., is very tasteful, obviously chosen by owners and managers who feel this is...

Our family of 7 all stayed at the Casa de Leyendas over the week of Christmas, and it was the best family holiday we've had in years. Ages ranged from 21 to mid-70's. The Casa was so welcoming, clean and comfortable, we were sad to see the week end. Breakfasts are ample and delicious. Owners and staff are friendly and...

A stone's throw from the beach/Malecón and waterfront bars/cafes/restaurants, and just a slightly longer throw to the same on the Plazuela Machado. In addition to the comfort and quaintness of the hotel, we found the service to be just the right balance of personalized attention and privacy. Casa de Leyendas will be our first choice for lodging in Mazatlan's Centro...

Good news! Owners / mangers Glenn and Sharon are back at CDL they have made customer service their number one priority. We have been staying at CDL since 2009 and I've always been impressed with the hospitality. There was an attempt to use an outside management company last year. Glad to see Glenn and Sharon back, and Cesar at Macaws....

This is a great special place to stay, it feels cozy, warm & very friendly. I had been to Mazatlan before, & I stayed in the "Zona Dorada" where most of the tourists stay, but I wanted a different experience, I wanted to be close to historic downtown, Plaza Machado & the Ocean...You have it all within walking distance.
