This is a great, affordable and comfortable choice, close to the beach, restaurants, etc... Despite being on the main street, it was very quiet, and the service was great. The breakfast was amazing as welL!

Only needed a place for one night, so we weren't in need of the amenities to be found at more upscale places. Hotel Rio Malecon turned out the be the perfect option. A very nice hotel with a lovely pool, poolside bar and restaurant in the courtyard. We have a baby, so it allowed us to put the baby down...

Pleasant, super clean, well located old town hotel. Frequented by Mexican families. Staff speaks English. Adjacent to Coexist Bistro where we had a delicious breakfast. Next trip will definitely have dinner here

The rooms are quite small and open to an open area over the restaurant and pool. When families are there it can be loud. The noise from the street is also quite loud. The location is good: one block from the Malecon in the Centro zone. The employees are friendly and helpful!

Location was great! Close to Malecom and a short walk to the Romantic zone. Had room on street side but noise was minimal. Great staff and service. Victor was especially helpful. The restaurant has great "gourmet" food. Rooms very clean and reasonably priced. Stayed for a month and hope to stay there again next year. Nice pool but not sunny...

The location is great, lots of amazing restaurants and shops just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. My only real complaint was the beds. I went with my girlfriend and they gave us two singles, we were able to push them together, a slight inconvenience. I recommend this place if you're looking for...

The hotel is at a very convenient location just a lane or two across the beach. The staff was very courteous and helpful. They even helped us in finding a cruise when all other cruises were full and that turned out be a nice one. The rooms are nice and are worth the price you pay. Its not a fancy...

We enjoyed a great meal in the Coexist restaurant and were surprised by how quiet the room was considering the busy street below. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Overall, we paid $65 for a queen bed and thought it was well worth it.

I booked online through Expedia, didn't have any issues checking in. Although I was expecting a fridge and there wasn't one. We were right above the kitchen which was really loud in the mornings. The walls are really thin, we could here everything outside and were right next to the janitor walk way, which was loud. The beds were uncomfortable....
