We absolutely loved Casa Dona Susana! First time to PV but been to Mexico many times before. Usually stay in large all-inclusive hotels, but this time wanted to try something different - SO GLAD WE DID! This property is small and very comfortable and charming. Boni and his staff run the hotel like a family, and treat everyone so well....

actual visit date Jan 2013 Nice, quaint hotel right in the heart of the romantic district. Standard rooms are small but adequate and clean. The rooftop pool is really nice and peaceful. As this is intended as an adults only hotel it was free of kids which is super. If you take the all inclusive option the restaurant is at...

We stayed there for a whole week and just got back home. Location is walking distance to the beach and all the other bars and restaurants in the old downtown area. Staff and service was excellent. And the room was clean and cozy, and room was serviced fully every day with sheets and towels. If you end up going, say...

Dona Susanna is a nice Mexican hotel with tons of character in a great location, close to beach and all the action. Package with Delta Airlines was a good deal. Staff friendly and very helpful. Internet worked well in lobby downstairs. Elevator sure helped getting around building and up to the rooftop pool where the water is crystal clear and...

This was my 50th Birthday vacation and once again the hotel and staff were AWESOME. They know us from previous visits and didn't even have to ask our names at check in. They had put confetti and balloons in my room for my Birthday which I LOVED. I cannot express enough how much I love this hotel and staff. Over...

Room: Everything we needed. Comfy bed, plenty of storage and surfaces to put stuff. Nothing too fancy but nothing shoddy. The only issue was our A/C unit which leaked quite a lot of water during a downpour outside. Location: Excellent. It is in the heart of Old Vallarta, easy walking distance to the beach and a lot of sights. Service:...

Plus they've added a Concierge named Bonifacio Rojas who is flawless. Professional & Courteous all day long! What a delight. He knows every Restaurant...so attentive to every need and detail. I loved this place! Has an authentic and rustic charm you could never get at a big resort. The rooms are super clean. The bed huge and insanely comfertable. The rooftop pool is not over run and was a little oasis. The man who works on the concierge desk is fantastic. I would 100% reccomend, great value for money! :)

“Front Rooms on Floors 2,3 & 4 have balconies, Back rooms are small and have one outside window, and other rooms look out over the courtyard. The first floor rooms may be a little musty, because the courtyard is open to the sky, and when it rains, its wet in the courtyard.”
