I can't say enough about the staff or the hotel; amazing people, great location, amazing food, mind numbing drinks, etc.,.. Highly recommend you staying there! Alex, David, Daniel, Bryem and the rest will make sure your stay is enjoyable! Breakfast is freshly prepared and is cooked by two hot sexy spicy chefs! 1000000% Recommend staying there!! Bryant

This is an older 2 star 3-story Mexican hotel. The rooms are basic and nothing fancy, but do have a refrigerator, safe and TV. The AC worked great. What the hotel lacks in luxury & amenities is made up with a great staff, full extended breakfast and location. The beach & pier is 2 minutes and gay beach 10 minutes...

Although we didn't stay here, we did spend the afternoon by the pool. Victor was very attending and friendly as all the staff here are. The place is very quaint and clean and the drinks are reasonable. No cover charge to use the pool for the day. We were provided complimentary towels for the day and snacks. Will definitely stay...

Staff was friendly, housekeeping was great, breakfast was delicious and the cook was HOT! The pool floor was a bit dangerous do to the step down with no warning and the tiles all being the same dark color, but learned to navigate it. Our room was pool side which is what we requested and enjoyed the room. The only thing...

authentic, not fancy, but felt just right in the Zona Romantica. I'm sure we'll be back. Amazing location, close to everything. The construction next door will wake you every morning, so no good if you want to sleep in. The staff is great, just let them know what you neeed and they'll be happpy to help.

This was my partner's and mine second stay at Hotel Mercurio and we could not have been happier. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating to all of your needs. The breakfast, included in price of room, that is served by the pool on a daily basis is superb! During our 4 day stay we never had the same meal...

I stay at Hotel Mercurio about 3-4 times a year. They have painted the courtyard, resurfaced the pool, and done some updates/repairs in the rooms. It is Mexican style with a combination of foreign and Mexican guests. The rooms have everything I need, including refrigerators, safes, hot water, etc., plus free onsite laundry (tip your room cleaner). There is a daily...

I stayed here for one of my trips to Puerto Vallarta. I really need some sun and a getaway in February is always welcome when there's sunshine involved. Hotel Mercurio was nice and the small pool looks inviting, but the loudness of the courtyard and the level of drinking by the owner, guests and staff is high. If this is...

Second time I've stayed here. Last time was better due to room facing street, more comfy bed, and no construction next door. Inward facing rooms are subjected to loud music from 3 pm to after 10 pm. Not sure what the point is as many guests seemed aggravated by it. Very annoying if you like to nap! Also a large...

First, about the housekeeping. This particular guest had his "Do Not Disturb" sign on his door for three days running, making it impossible for the housekeeping staff to go in and clean. Then he complained about the housekeeping. Yes, there is construction next door. Theres virtually nothing we can do about that. But (a.) it's not noisy all the time,...

I stayed 3 weeks and had a great time .Breakfast was included but I ate only 3 times, delicious each time. My room on 3rd floor noisy due to water heater that sounded like a compressor but was nice in other respects. Staff is the best, Victor was my room cleaner, great job. Luis on front desk helped with my...
