Really enjoyed this resort, will definitely stay here again. Rooftop views and sunsets and the rooftop bar are amazing. Stayed in the 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom suite, huge space, separate thermostat for each room so everyone can be comfortable. Huge balconies on the rooms in the tower. Very nice.

Old hotel,no soundproofing between rooms, marble hallways that echo every noise. No rules that are put in place. The people listed are the only reason to go: Patricia, Leyda, Jose Maria,Pedro,Martin,Francisco,Luis,Alex. These service people go above and beyond more so than any mgr’s, . Due to Covid very few Canadians, Americans and thus Spanish was the spoken language primarily. This was our place but we will Not return.

This place was a wonderful honeymoon destination for my wife & I. Marcelino (Buddy) set up a beautiful rooftop dinner for us at the Sky Lounge, and watching the sunset over dinner made it a night to remember! Pedro, Hector, Victor, Ricardo, Oscar, Ulysses, Victor & Martin we’re all excellent servers! They made sure we always had a full drink and food when needed! I highly recommend them!

Only positive thing to say is Marcelino, AKA Buddy), did an amazing job serving us a private couples dinner on the rooftop at sunset. He went above and beyond despite being pulled to help in other areas. Negatives, and there's ALOT! WiFi is horrible, worst I've seen anywhere in Mexico and they could care less. There were almost all local Mexicans staying at the resort and no English speaking guests to speak of except maybe 10 people. Not complain about that except that the staff gave no service to us at all, we were pretty much ignored. I guess our money wasn't as valuable. Rooms we completely outdated, broken toilet stool, hot water for 5 seconds then freezing, but pressure was good. Beds were hard as a rock along with the little square pillows. The noise from the nightly entertainment was extremely loud so do not plan on resting until after 11pm. The constant slamming of doors and kids running in the halls were completely ridiculous. Pool was small and full of rude kids spitting their non-alcoholic drinks at each other and eating in the pool. Puerto Vallarta itself is beautiful with tons of great restaurants and bars, just not at this place. They call it a Grand Beach Resort, I'd call it a 1 star motel. My advice, definitely stay someplace else!
