We enjoyed our stay at this inexpensive hotel in the heart of the old downtown district of Puerto Vallarta. The front desk staff was very helpful. Good strong shower with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable but if you are hoping for the perfect pillow you may be disappointed. Free wifi. Bus stop is right around the corner....

This hotel is run by a lovely family and is typical of an older Mexican establishment... It has a charming lobby and open air plaza... Sadly, it is need of some updates if you want certain things like a clean shower with hot water... We were in the "best" room but didn't have hot water anytime during our stay... It's...

I stayed here one weekend after a week-long workshop and was very pleased to have done so. The hotel is very well located only a stone's throw from the church, Zona Romantica main square, and water. This part of town is quieter than many, and for that, I was grateful. The hotel is cute and quiet, with an interior courtyard...

Catedral Vallarta Hotel Boutique is a simple, no frills hotel with traditional Mexican decor and artwork throughout. Great location in downtown PV. Hotel is older but well cared for. Staff has all been very pleasant.

The people at this hotel could not have been kinder or more helpful. The decor was so authentic and tasteful that I couldn't quite believe it. The room was very clean and I would go back in a heartbeat. Great location.

This small and friendly hotel is perfectly located Downtown PV, you can walk everywhere. It's very clean, charming and not too expensive. The breakfast is just coffee or tea with cookies and I liked it. I will certainly return !

The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the Malecon. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. The water is hot and the a/c is cold. The hotel is close to lots of good restaurants and a laundry service is around the corner. Wifi is spotty in room; works best down in the courtyard. HOWEVER, the hotel web site and...

We used this hotel as our base for discovering the heart of Puerto Vallarta. The building is old and the rooms smaller, but that only added to the charm of the property. The staff were very helpful suggesting places to eat and providing directions as the hotel does not have a restaurant. The view from the rooftop balcony is breathtaking...

We booked here as our regular haunt was full that weekend passing through PV> I was worried about the fact there was no pool,, but it was alright as it was not too hot at that time. This old style posada hotel is right in the midst of the great mix of shops along the Rio Cuale. It is a...

This is a older hotel in a very good location if your spending time in the old town or the beach. The hotel is kept squeaky clean by a nice staff. There is a nice courtyard and rooftop overlook. There are only stairs to reach the upper floors and the hot water takes a few minutes to reach the shower outlet....
