Booked a 2 bedroom condo for 2 weeks. 3 friends. Booked with pvkid. Everything was as advertised. Location is amazing. Malecon and beach are just steps away. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars etc. within walking distance. Old town Vallarta is full of things to do. Our balcony overlooked the square where there was often evening entertainment. The rooftop pool was... More

This place would be perfect - see other positive reviews; but the noise from the public park next door is incredibly intolerable and sometimes lasts til midnight. Oh, there's also the exercise group most mornings from 9:00 - 10:00 with extremely loud microphone and canned music. If you can tolerate bad music and loud announcements, then OK, it's for you.

The PVKid was excellent to us- Very helpful, great suggestions for things to do and excellent communication. Perfect location right on the beach and Malecon, mercado just down the street, plenty of shopping and nightlife- loved the neighborhood!

This is our third year renting a condo at Plaza Mar, and we don't want to stay anywhere else! We've stayed in 3 different units; all have been well appointed, very clean and quiet. You can't beat the location. As stated in another review, renting through the PVKid is a breeze.

We've been coming to Vallarta for 15+ years. After staying in all inclusive resorts and smaller hotels, we tried Plaza Mar a few years back, and we've never stayed anywhere else since when just the two of us go. This building is perfection. The condos are spotless, you get every comfort of home, and the location is second to none.... More

We rented unit 202 from October 25-29. This was our 6th visit to Puerto Vallarta but the first in a condo in town. The location could not be better. Tons of shops and restaurants right there. We had breakfast at the restaurant right next to the entrance and the food was very good. The building is very secure. Our unit... More

We have been coming to PVR for many years. Usually stay in the hotel zone, but spend our time in the south side. This condo is fantastic for anyone who loves to explore, try new restaurants, etc. We had 401- perfect for two. Well-equipped with kitchen appliances and utensils. The bed was great with great pillows. Very little noise in... More

We first came to stay at Plaza Mar in 2011 and we haven't stayed anywhere else since. We come every year. It's the perfect location, has a home feel, and the service is great. It's great for families or couples. It's very nice and quiet.

“They're all nice. Budget and availability will determine how good your view is. Condo 301 is a great place to stay.”

“It's a personal preference but I would say that floors 4, 5, and above were above the height of the palm trees. 01 condos are on the north west corner and I'm reasonably sure that the 06 condos overlook a park across the street that frequently has concerts.”
 of 5 bubbles LouisN715, 27 Mar 2014 | Read review
“A higher floor is probably preferable due to noise and views, though I recommend you look at photos taken from inside the room under consideration as well as from the balcony looking out. In our case, we looked through some palms for a filtered view of the ocean. For us, that was preferable to looking down on the tops of the trees. It all depends on your preferences. Also consider whether you want your living area or sleeping area nearest the beach as I think the rooms come in both orientations.”
