Hotel Playa Fiesta was the best decision we could have made for our destination wedding. Being an event/wedding planner (and type A personality) I was a bit hesitant and anxious having a destination wedding, but it was my fiancé’s wish. After looking into other countries and deciding to not use a destination wedding service, we decided on Puerto Vallarta as my husband's family has a connection to the city and he has loved going year after year. I did a venue search on google and stumbled upon Playa Fiesta (Boutique Hotel). The place sounded too good to be true, only you and your guests in the entire place! I sent an email to get more information and was pleasantly surprised to get a response back so quickly; and that was just the beginning. Communication with Lindsay (owner) and Gabi (wedding coordinator) was unbelievable. They would respond so promptly. They had every detail of our wedding week organized down to the minute. It was perfect! I was able to relax and know everything was handled exactly how I wanted it.
From the moment our guests arrived at the hotel, they were all treated like royalty. Each employee had somehow memorized every guest by name and was attentive to our guests needs. Every detail throughout the entire week was spot on. From our guests walking off the beach and being handed a water bottle and cold towel, to booking snorkeling excursions for our guests, to the cleanliness of the entire place, and to everyone feeling safe and secure (not having to worry where you set your purse/phone down). And the FOOD! They offered an amazing breakfast every day that was included and the dinners were delicious that we had added to our package. We could not have asked for a better week. We are still talking about how perfect everything was. Every one of our guests were blown away and still are talking about how it was the best wedding ever and what an amazing time they had. It is truly due to the ENTIRE staff at Playa Fiesta! They were phenomenal. We all want to come back again! :)

Clean mid-sized hotel that was perfect for our adult group friends experience. This place is a perfect alternative to the all inclusive mega resorts. Much smaller and more custom, yet just large enough to keep our group fed/drunk/entertained such that we didn't leave the resort more than once every 2-3 days for a meal or excursion out.
Room was large and had a nice view of the bay where we watched whales breach nearly daily (Dec/Jan season). Genuine staff/servers that have been there for years, love their job, and treat you as such.
The pool/deck/bar experience is perfect for a group of friends to hang out. 2 pools, one of which is temperature controlled (rare to find in my experience), and 1 hot tub that is actually hot! Made for a fun outdoor experience on the day it rained.
Hotel and deck overlook the beach and ocean. Direct access from the deck to the beach. Water is swimable, just try to find a section where the sand isn't washed away under the water. There is a good 1/2mi plus of walkable rustic beach, which was where we took daily walks.
Note street side the high speed traffic and roads without a shoulder are not a place to walk...though you can catch a bus right there and be walking in the city center in less than 10min.

We’ve been back to Playa Fiesta nearly ten times since first going in 2008. From the moment we walked in, it felt like a luxurious home away from home. The staff has always felt like family. You get all of comfort and amenities of a large resort, just with a much more private, personal experience. While weddings are their bread and butter, they have perfected an experience for all types of travelers and gatherings. We’ve celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday there with friends and family and when the hotel is open for individual guest bookings, we spent numerous Christmas holidays there, even with our 10 month old and had a relaxing stay every time making some amazing friendships there along the way. I’m a bit of a “neat freak”, so the rooms being so beautiful and immaculately kept was something I really appreciated. With the two pools, a hot tub, great food and a bar an arms reach away, you end up feeling like you are living in your own private estate. The friendly staff knows your name right away, and will get you anything you need at a moments notice. We couldn’t recommend Playa Fiesta more highly — it really is one of our favorite places in the entire world.

I don’t even know where to begin..... I feel like I’m writing a review on my family and it feels kinda wrong lol but here it goes!!
From start to finish- this team will ensure with everything in their power that you have the most amazing and safe experience while enjoying all the pure beauties of Pv.
Arrival process was spot on, they welcomed us in as if we were family, no not just the ‘hola, here’s a beer” welcome, it was a true homecoming. I arrived and was whisked away to my suite, never did I even experience a ‘front desk’ business which was so refreshing, never asked for a credit card. It’s all about getting in, getting to know each other and getting the party started, something I didn’t realize until after and it made such a big difference, first impressions are everything.
I was a solo traveler, joining a wedding party in which we had the whole hotel to ourselves. I felt like a king, Felt like I was the only one there. I had servers, housekeeping, managers, everyone asking if needed anything and when I did it was delivered within seconds. The overall weekend was so magical as we got to celebrate our friends wedding but it also was just a complete magical experience from a hospitality stand point.
The property is spotless, clean and well maintained. The lighting is everything, anywhere you say or looked what just a perfect little dream.
Not only do they have two pools/hot tub but also beach front access. Massages on beach, jet skis and private shopping right there on our sandy beach.

While we have already left a stellar review of Playa Fiesta after our wedding, we felt compelled to remind anyone looking to stay here just how wonderful it is!! My wife and I were married here in February 2018 and have already been back to visit our friends and family (i.e. the staff + owners Lindsay and Adam) 3 times! We just can't get enough!
Here's why...
1. Did I mention the staff!? During our trip last week we were reminded just how amazing the crew at PF is. There is a reason most employees are on their 5th, 10th, 15th season and keep coming back. It's such a lovely place to work and this shows with their collective positive attitude and overwhelmingly friendly, attentive service. 2. The facilities and amenities are impeccable! While not waiting on your every beckoning need, the staff is working around the clock to ensure a spotless environment with every detail being meticulously maintained. 3. Quiet, beautiful surroundings! It's pretty rare to find a secluded property in PV that isn't chock full of families and overcrowded pools/beaches. Peaceful bliss is exactly what you will experience at Playa Fiesta. Throw in some tastey cocktails from bartenders Richie or Charlie and you are in your own little slice of heaven :) 4. The list goes on and on.. we genuinely feel at home when we visit and know that you will too! We can't recommend this property enough and cannot wait to continue making memories here for years and years to come!

I never even knew that I had a dream wedding, until the wonderful staff and ownership of Playa Fiesta showed me that I did ... and then made it come true.
We had so many off-the-cuff ideas that we pitched out there that seemed totally ridiculous. The owners Adam and Lindsay, and their trusty wedding planner assistant Gabi, were amazing in making those visions into a reality in a completely seamless and pain-free way. Karaoke DJ night? Done. Appetizer spread upon guests arrival? No problem. Elaborate layout of gifts for guests in their rooms? Easy. Boat cruise day? We're on it. Live authentic Mexican guitarist and vocalist for the ceremony? Don't even worry about it.
The list goes on and on.
The staff was out of this world. Their attention to detail and level of personal care that they gave each of our guests was truly outstanding. They knew all of our guests by name, were keenly aware of their dietary restrictions. No one was ever thirsty without a drink or hungry without a plate. I can go on for days about the waiters, bartenders, cooks, and all of the staff.
I can't emphasize enough how great it was to have a private resort just for our guests. No worrying for a second about keeping the neighbors up at night with our dance parties or some creepy guy crashing our wedding reception! Haha. Just all of our favorite people, all of the time! That's priceless, and frankly we found the price to be quite reasonable for the five star level of everything that we got.
And I can't finish this review without mentioning the food. Oh my gosh! I am a huge food snob, and I typically do not like all inclusive type resorts. This was certainly not that. I got to hand pick out all of the dinners, and I don't think that I could have missed from the list that they provided. Every single meal was a home run. The breakfasts spreads were fresh and full of flavor, the omelettes cooked custom to perfection, and all of the dinners were out of this world.
This was such a painless wedding planning process. I can't sing their praises loudly enough. I can't wait to convince my friends to get married here, so that I can also experience it from a guest perspective, because all of our guests were certainly blown away. I'm still getting rave reviews!

My husband and I got married at Playa Fiesta in June 2021 and it was an incredible experience! From the moment we booked at Playa they were amazing in guiding us through all the decisions we needed to make for the wedding and resort stay. They are highly professional in every aspect of the planning and realization of a destination wedding. We had over 50 family and friends stay at Playa for the week of the wedding and we could not be any happier in how it all turned out. Our guests all had an amazing time and have not stopped talking about the week we all spent down there.
The resort is beautiful from the unique design of each room to the location right on the beach. The air conditioning was also the best we have ever experienced in a tropical climate. The amenities are fantastic and the layout of the outside area is awesome with the pools, hot tub, bar, and easy access to the beach. The food and drinks were great and the service top notch. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive.
If you are looking for the tranquility of a private resort, top notch attention to details, warmth and caring people in charge then look no further then this amazing resort.
The wedding and reception were out of a dream. The pavilion for the ceremony is perfect with the sunlight and ocean around you. There are so many wonderful details that went into that day and we could not be more grateful for the attention and care put into pulling it off. Lindsay and Gabi’s experience really shows and you could not be in better hands. From the mariachi band to the fireworks on the beach, it was a day we will never forget. There is just such a positive vibe to Playa and we really made memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. From the service, to our room, to the food it was a once in a lifetime experience. The first day they welcomed us with open arms and memorized our names and drinks and everything we preferred. Our rooms were cleaned while enjoying food or beach time never once bothered us while in our rooms. The food was amazing but honestly the staff made this experience unforgettable. Best vacation/wedding celebration I’ve ever attended. This place is 12 stars out of 5. Staff is amazing and can’t wait to get back soon. Food was delicious, Charley & Ricardo are my new best friends. Planning a destination wedding without seeing the venue can be stressful, but the team at Hotel Playa Fiesta was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Our wedding week was more than we could have imagined. The hotel is beautifully manicured, the view is amazing, every meal was delicious and all of our guests said it was the best wedding venue they had ever been to! My mother even said that I've ruined weddings for my nephews because they will think that every wedding is this amazing!

It's a very short cab ride from downtown and bus ride to other smaller areas. I wouldn't recommend walking on that road, you can but it's much safer to just take the bus. It's cheap and quick to explore.
Hello - I was married there in May and just got back from another four days back! It was fun to meet some of the couples who got married there 5, 7, and 9 years ago and come back every year. We had the opportunity to explore PV a lot more this time. The cab ride is short and inexpensive, maybe 200 pesos. There are a ton of bars and clubs, really great and fun restaurants with beautiful views, and even free entertainment along the beach and board walk. We bounced around a lot and there are so many bars with many different vibes. I highly recommend Hotel Playa Fiesta and everything that comes with enjoying Puerto Vallarta!
Hi Rachael, Congrats! You will have a fabulous wedding site. I was only a guest so can't answer your questions. However, the Hotel gave use excellent recommendations on everything we asked for, including a hair salon Elle Salon, so ask them. Have a blessed wedding!
