I am having my wedding here, and wish I knew in advance what a pain they are to work with. They did let us know in advance that there is a mandatory 1h cocktail hour before returning to the chapel for the reception, but they did *not* tell us that *EVERYONE* is required to pay full price for the bar... This place is always a hit. Excellent food, unbeatable views, and of course the Mariachis were the icing on the cake. Unfortunately the evening ended with everyone waiting at least 20 minutes for cabs to arrive. A disappointing ending to an otherwise great evening.

Had a fantastic dinner. If you have not been to Puerta Vallarta and don't know the area you may think your driver is taking you someplace pretty sketchy. Once the doors open you are in a magical place. Beautiful grounds and gardens that beg for you to explore. The dining area is large with well positioned tables to take full... More

A little hard to find, no problem with a taxi. Environment is just incredible, and the service and food were simply well done. The view alone is a reason to go. When in town just GO!!! I would go back and stay in the Hotel, they showed us some of the rooms, just perfect.....

A splurge dinner for our anniversary was wonderful! The setting is beautiful, the food excellent and service perfect. We had the rack of lamb and short ribs after sharing the coconut cream shrimp soup. Everything was prepared perfectly. Mariachis were a nice background to a lovely evening. We then had a tour of La Iguana and Kimberly House made famous... More

No trip to Puerto Vallarta (and we go OFTEN) is complete without a trip to Hacienda San Angel for dinner. The property is the end result of the combination of 4 adjacent villas, into one superb "villa hotel" that is on the list of "Best Small Hotels in the World"! The exterior looks like a blank wall on a back... More

Been here twice and I find this place extremely romantic and cosy. It's a old hacienda very well preserved. It's very well hidden in the hills of Vallarta with amazing views. Only has 16 rooms, but they are all cute and cosy! I can't wait to be back!

Holidaying at the Hacienda San Angel has become somewhat of an annual tradition these days, and I never tire of the beauty and tranquility which is encapsulated inside its high walls and within the gardens. A few minutes walk from the heart of Old Town PV, the Hacienda provides for everything you could ever want. My memories of the Staff... More

Ate here our first night in PV. It raised the bar for every place else the rest of the week. Service was very attentive, extensive wine list, food was exquisite. Go at sundown, for some amazing views of the town and the sun setting over the bay! Very relaxed atmosphere, didn't rush us. Kinda felt underdressed, but I guess everyone... More

Brunch in wedding chapel is only avaiable in prime season until Easter. Nothing better in town. It is two streets above the main church looking over the Bay of Banderas. A violinist plays while a buffet worthy of a king awaits. Truly a bargin!
