Resort was nice but smaller than I expected. They had five restaurants, but food was only average. Beach very small and water very rough. Pool bars closed at 7pm? They messed up our room reservation and promised to move us to a Better room but...More

We stayed at Dreams from Sept 20 to Sept 27 2013. We were a bit worried about booking during the end of the rainy season, but thankfully even though it did rain daily it only rained after about 4pm each day. It also meant we...More
My wife and I have been coming to Dreams (used to be Camino Real) since the 1970's and have always been very pleased. The staff is over the top in friendlyness and helpfulness. It has the best beach in Puerto Vallarta by far. I wish...More

I can only answer that question regarding my stay. We were on the 20th floor in a double Queen room. We had a view of the beach and ocean. The bathroom had a separate toilet with a glass door, double sinks with marble top, walk in shower with an area to sit down. There were two shower heads... one was portable and the other was attached to the ceiling which I never saw before. Beautiful by the way... The snack bar was filled daily along with the mini cooler which had water and different flavor sodas at no extra charge. Maid service came twice a day. Room service was 24 hours at no extra charge. We only had access to one elevator. The second elevator was being renovated while we were there. Due to the current crimes reported in México, our vacation was planned purposely to stay within the secure walls of the Hyatt Ziva in Puerto Vallarta. We had a great time. There was plenty to do to keep us occupied. If you want to go on any excursions I advise you to use the tour guide located in the office within the Puerto Vallarta Hyatt Ziva Hotel they have insurance which ensure your safety. Any excursions booked outside of that office is a risk. They're were 6 to 7 different places to eat at Hyatt Ziva. I am a culinary Specialist and I can say the food was on point. Each chef at each of the restaurants took their time to give a daily presentation of their work along with flavor. Every restaurant had a different flavor of food. Food was cooked fresh daily. It didn't even feel like all inclusive because you were seated like a customer who made reservations and given a menu. There was one buffet or a la carte area but they still served you like you were the only customer. I hope this helps.
