My husband and I sadly came home yesterday after 6 magical days at Hotel Mousai. I cannot say enough about the staff they were amazing and kind. Carlos was a magnificent butler and was always checking to make sure we were having the best time.! Can't wait to go back!
This was our second stay at Mousai and I must review again because credit is due where credit is due. After what I am sure was a tough year for the hotel industry in Mexico, you would not know it at Mousai. They have maintained, if not bettered their level of service. Jesus, Cecilia, Eduardo and Ricardo with the front desk staff made our check-in/check-out and room service super easy. This visit we tried two restaurants that we were not able to try previously, Hiroshi and Blanca Blue at Garza Blanca. Both were sooooo good! Blanca Blue had delicious soups... I know, it's just a soup. But they were that good! We got the fish and street tacos and were very happy with those choices. Marco was an amazing server also! I am not a sushi fan but my husband is, so we tried Hiroshi. He was blown away by how good the sushi was and proclaimed it was one of, if not the best, sushi restaurants he's been to. I can attest the non-sushi options were equally as tasty. Abraham and the serving staff took great care of us all night and even brought us out their signature lychee drink to try and an extra dessert to celebrate our honeymoon. Thank you Abraham! While those two restaurants were awesome, the rooftop pool is THE SPOT! All the drinks are insanely good ( pretty sure Manuel and Jose are the bartenders we had) and the staff that works up there is so attentive. Gerardo and Enrique served us a few days in a row and probably brought me 20+ lychee martinis lol. You guys rock! In terms of things to do, the pool is amazing to just lounge out all day. But we also did the snorkeling kayak tour with Cesar and had a great time. We also did a couples massage with Alba and Erica before we left for our flights and it was the perfect send off. If you are thinking of covid.... don't hesitate. Pretty much the whole hotel is very open air, and the staff all wear masks. It’s very hard wearing a mask all day especially while working hard, so I hope all the guests appreciate all of the staffs efforts. Most of the patrons wore masks in common areas like the lobby and elevators. Getting our covid test took 10 minutes and was easy. We can’t wait for our next trip back:) …
OMG from the time we walked in Josue made us feel at home. He showed us the proper use of the hydro relaxation and made us glad we came in early. Our massage therapist Olivia and Isabel listened to our concerns and gave us the best over the top massage possible! The resort looked so beautiful that we book to come back in May 2021!!!
There’s nothing Negative to say about the Servíce and quality we received at this restaurant. Our servers Jose and Irving went above and beyond any service we have ever received. The food was exquisite and more than delicious. Definitely recommend!!!
Our first visit to hotel Mousai was in Oct 2020 and we loved it so much we came back in March 2021. Everything was perfect. The service, food, drinks, cleanliness of the hotel and grounds, all amazing. Carlos, our butler was outstanding. He was our butler in October and when we planned our trip for March we knew we had to ask for him again. He truly seems to enjoy his job. He goes the extra mile every day to make his guests smile and happy. If you book Mousai, ask for Carlos. You will be glad you did!
