We had an unforgettable vacation at Hotel Mousai, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. Alan Y. and Vianey, our pool concierges, went above and beyond to ensure our time by the pool was nothing short of perfect. Their attention to detail and friendly service made every moment relaxing and enjoyable.

Additionally, Humberto, our personal concierge, truly elevated our trip. His personalized care and dedication to making our stay special made this vacation one to remember. He was always available to assist with anything we needed, adding an extra touch of luxury to our time at the resort.

Although we’ve been proud owners at Garza Blanca since 2016, this was our first time staying at Hotel Mousai, and we couldn’t be happier with the decision. The atmosphere, service, and attention to detail at this property exceeded our expectations in every way. If you’re considering a visit, don’t hesitate—you won’t be disappointed! Hotel Mousai has become our new favorite spot, and we’re already looking forward to our next stay.

My wife and I are frequent guests of Hotel Mousai. Prior to COVID-19 our hobby was traveling the world. We are fortunate to stay at the finest resorts and are drawn to such. We love a special resort where location, service, food, quality of bedding, amenities etc. all matters. Hotel Mousai excels and exceeds excellence on every level and then some. I don't think there is a more beautiful setting than Hotel Mousai. Hotel Mousai is built in a jungle preserve that is so tropical and gorgeous. The views of spectacular Banderas Bay are magical. The staff is over the top incredible!!! From the moment you arrive you are made to feel like family. Staff members quickly address you by name and remember your likes and preferences. The pool staff is incredible. Dylan, Enrique, Ivan and the floor managers cater to your every whim in a very non-obstrusive way. The hotel manager is clearly respected by the staff and she is very hands on and runs an incredible show. The entire concierge team is remarkable with special thank you to Jennifer for helping make our stay extra special. Our Butler Carlos Ramos seems to show up out of nowhere just when you need him! He can make magic happen and does it so quietly and with such genuine kindness. The entire Hiroshi staff is so welcoming and perfect. Special thank you to Jennifer and Christian. The suites at Hotel Mousai are gorgeous and so well kept. Every time we visit we feel as if we are checking into a brand new suite. Bedding is incredible and I always sleep so well! I have stayed at the Four Seasons Punta Mita. Although the Four Seasons is a beautiful property it can't compare to Hotel Mousai. Hotel Mousai is a class all it's own. AAA should make a six diamond category and include Hotel Mousai. Staying at Hotel Mousai allows you to visit the fabulous restaurants in Puerto Vallarta easily. It is only a 10 minute cab ride and 170 pesos ($8) to go into town. Puerto Vallarta is home to some of the most fantastic restaurants. Don't miss Cafe Des Artistes, Casa Kimberly's La Iguana, Trio, La Palapa, Casa Tradicional, Sonora Prime Grill and Le Kliff. I would be remiss if I didn't brag about Hotel Mousai, but worry that this resort will become too popular.....let's keep this very special place a secret.

Beautiful setup but prime purpose is to sell membership
Rooms in adult only are beautiful, each with amazing view of water and sunset, balcony with gorgeous jacuzzi and overall nice and spacious setup
Hotel is nicely decorated but from gate to main entrance is a long and cobbled drive, 10 min wasted each way
Rooftop is awesome for setup and view but no bathroom??? Beautiful infinity pool. Service was great but food was just ok
Spa was pretty, nicely setup. Front dest little stiff to almost rude, massage was super, skilled and professional. Moderately expensive for location (500 dollars for couples massage with tip) that’s major city prices not PV s
Would not go back but was overall good experience
Staff were very courteous and accommodating.

We booked an Ultra Mousai Corner Suite for one week to celebrate our honeymoon which comes with the all-inclusive benefits of their ULTRA package.

In our 6 days on the resort, we only had EXCELLENT experiences with the staff, the facilities, and accessing all our ultra benefits. There are tons of options for how to spend each day. We preferred to begin each day with in-room dining on the terrace overlooking the sail-boats gliding through the bay. For the mornings, we'd hit the spa or the outdoor activities like hiking, snorkeling, kayaking, swimming in waterfalls, etc. The staff on each excursion was amazing! Oswaldo, Sergio, and Julio were awesome!

Every afternoon was spent on the rooftop under a cabana and swimming in the beautiful infinity pool overlooking the bay. We ordered fresh food and amazing drinks while soaking in the sun. Alberto, Ivan, Enrique, and Rigo took excellent care of us during the afternoons and made the whole experience fantastic.

Finally, our butler, Cesar, made sure we made the most of our trip, he helped us plan sunset dinners at Hiroshi and Bianca Blue, organize our hydrotherapy at the spa, utilize all our services and more. Everyone at Mousai was very friendly and super helpful.

I cannot wait to bring some friends next time!

This would be our second stay at Mousai, the first in July 2020. Remarkably, most of the staff who assisted us in one way or another in July recalled our previous visit and our names. We were provided the same extraordinary service at the roof top bar/lounge and poolside service was exemplary. Any wish was fulfilled by our "butler" from reservations on the property in one of the restaurants to spa time, in-room birthday celebration decor, etc.

As per usual, the food was excellent and the corner suite was amazing. Room service was a 10/10 with cleaning, prepping and turn-down service.

What an amazing experience and place to stay in Puerto Vallarta

This is my girlfriend’s and I second time here. This by far is our favorite hotel in Mexico. We have been in hotels in Cabo and Cancun although good, none compare to Hotel Mousai. It’s truly an amazing experience. The rooms are huge and comes with so many things including a jacuzzi that you can change temperatures and make it a pool. Enjoy an expresso while laying in your hammock. The food and service is unbelievable. We went to the terrace for breakfast every morning where Angel, Eduardo (nick name tall skinny guy) and Enrique were amazing and always got the party started in the morning for us with amazing mimosas and great service. They have so many different flavors. Try the passion fruit. The roof top Infiniti pool is unbelievable with live music and amazing views at the beach. Thanks to Alberto and Guillermo who were ALWAYS on point with their service. Always brought our delicious foods and drinks on a timely matter. I highly recommend the hike with Oswaldo and Sergio. They also were great pool concierges at Garza Blanca. Helped us with our every need. The hike is VERY intense but they were amazing at keeping us safe in the jungle. At the end, you are rewarded by jumping in a body of refreshing water. Last but not least the concierge was great. Special thanks to Rosy who made my girlfriend’s trip. We were celebrating her getting her doctorates in pharmacy and Rosy helped make her feel EXTRA special. Best part is, if you stay at hotel Mousai, you also can enjoy everything at Garza Blanca. I also highly recommend the spa. They have the most amenities I have ever seen at a spa resort with beautiful ocean views. My massage from my massage therapist Julia was so amazing and relaxing that I was falling in an out of sleep for a little bit. So good! Thank you all for making our trip a memorable one. We will definitely be back when the North Tower opens up!

Firstly, Our entire trip was amazing which we owe to our butler Lilith! From the moment we were introduced, she did everything in her power to make our honeymoon a very special vacation. She took care of our dinner reservations, spa reservations, activity recommendations and every single special request we could ask for. Truly i wish i could bring her home with me - she ensured we did not have to put any effort towards anything, she handled it all. We can never thank her enough!!!

The hotel itself is everything you can imagine, food is phenomenal, service is exceptional and speedy, the resort is GORGEOUS.
our room was SPOTLESS at all times, as whenever we left someone would attend to our room (With the help of scheduling from our amazing Butler Lilith) and they put a diffuser in the room for aromatherapy which was my favorite.

Very easy to get around as there is a trolley which takes you around the resort arriving at the lobby every 5 minutes. You never need to leave the resort, but if you do - the town is only a $4-$8 Uber ride away.

Overall this was the best vacation spot and could not ask for any better for our honeymoon.

Thank you Hotel Mousai and Lily!!!!

Id love to keep this hotel on the DL and not rave about the most amazing staff & room but I cant! From the time we arrived, we have been taken care of with endless champagne, craft cocktails and gourmet food. Our corner suite is stunning and romantic with surround sound inside and out, expansive patios with tile zero edge hot tub and my favorite the hammock. If you want complete privacy you will need to splurge for the higher suites we were on the 4th and there is a hotel that has some balcony’s that face corner suites... we did not mind as we just loved the mtn, bay & ocean view and no one was on patios across from us but for a few hundred more you can get privacy. The restaurants have been the best PV has to offer. The rooftop speaks for itself and the service was just as impressive poolside. We cant wait to return next month for a week

We stayed 3 nights all-inclusive in an Ultra Corner Suite for a little over $800 per night. At this rate, we expected a flawless experience. We were disappointed.

Nothing hits you as terrible when you walk in. The staff is very friendly. The views, pools and beach are beautiful. As you settle in, the little things begin to add up. If we'd paid $400 / night, these things wouldn't matter quite so much. But at more than 2x this, they do. I think the hotel is too big for its own good and management has lost control and focus on ensuring superior quality.

Some issues:
Old, dented/stained boxes for complimentary toiletries (sewing kit, shower cap, etc).
Opened water bottle left by prior guest on balcony
Butler didn't even introduce himself until the afternoon of our last full day. We left having no idea what a butler should have done, but we paid extra for him.
Huge leak in our shower wall. Not offered different room and asked to not use one of the two shower heads to avoid leak.
Broken shades and music that wouldn't turn off in room.
Mini bar not restocked
Really mediocre food - There were some exceptions to this, but again at $800/night, it should all be out of this world. We began ordering only things we thought would be hard to mess up, at which point we tried a room service cheese pizza that was truly inedible.
No sun shades at a Hiroshi, a restaurant facing west.
No place to hang towels in room. Seems so silly, but it's not pleasant to just throw your towel on the floor when you're done.
Hard sell to order alcohol at breakfast (two days in a row).
Hard sell to become a member only 30 min post-arrival
Mediocre spa experience: staff coughing, hard sell to buy products after the completion of service when you should just be relaxing and glowing, not figuring out how to say 'no' two or three times.
New pillows came hours after we made the request for them

Again, the staff were friendly and trying hard. We loved the live piano music from Adel as well as the great service from Irving, Franco, and Alejandro at Hiroshi as well as the the bartending by Heriberto in Noi. The problem here is management and their focus.

Where do I start!!? From the time we entered the gate at Hotel Mousai we felt welcomed immediately. We were given welcome drinks along with a wet towel. The decor along screams luxury. We stayed in the best room available at the property which was the ultra corner suite on level 11. Our butler was CARLOS and he was amazing. When we first checked in, he took down my phone number so that he could easily reach me and he reached out everyday to see if we needed anything. We purchased a dinner on the beach for $195 that included a bottle of
Moet. We witnessed the sunset as a photographer took pictures of us that we later paid $95 for on a USB. My favorite place to relax was both the rooftop pool and our hot tub on the balcony. My favorite drink was the sexy lady on the rooftop. I was really nervous about food because when I stayed in Cancun it was hit and miss. Needless to say the food was even amazing. I loved the beef nachos, popcorn chicken, filet mignon, the quesadillas EVERYTHING!!! They invited us back for New Years because they have a firework display around the island. We will be back & special thanks to Carlos and everyone else who made us feel welcomed our whole stay.

You don't need to tip at all for meals and there was no pressure to do so at this hotel. We tipped a couple of times for outstanding service. Butler tip ranges on how much they actually do for you, but somewhere $10-$20 per night for tip.

You see the construction of the two towers one near the north which was ours which looked like they were just pouring concrete on the top floor. We were at the rooftop pool all but 1 day and the restroom is one floor below so you can take stairs and view the new building. We never heard any noise about the new tower near the south tower either.

No separate beach when we went - it is a pretty small beach overall. We spent nearly all of our time in the rooftop pool. We just had an ultra suite, but did not see any "reserved" areas like other resorts. Not sure about the butler suite, but I believe you need to be there to get chairs We went a couple years ago and are going back in December - best resort we've been to

I wish I could attach the screen capture I have where it mentions purple and the black. But states ultra all-inclusive wears black. So I was just trying to see the difference between the two all-inclusive ultra vs non ultra.
