Located across the bay from the more expensive and popular Playa La Ropa and Playa La Madera areas this hotel is excellent (almost unbelieveable) value for money. The hotel gets morning sun and afternoon shade and since all rooms have balconies it is a perfect location for an evening drink. There is nothing in the way of restaurants in the...

What a delightful visit!Small Spanish style 4story Villa, perched high on cliff overlooking Zihuat Bay.The stairs were a challenge at first, going down 170 steps to the fishing dock& beach.coming back easiest to take short cab ride, about 500 pesos. It was good exercise for the day & pleasant walking past shops& great places to eat, drink or siesta on the beach, under huts...

That pretty well sums up Villa el Morro, It's on a hill and by the time you walk where you need to go you will have taken 200 steps! I wish I was wearing my Fitbit 😊 One can always take a taxi to the hotel BUT there are still many stairs left to your room depending what level you...

This small hotel offers outstanding views, large master suites, full kitchens and a pool. There are a lot of steps but very doable. The staff is limited with English but we were more than able to communicate anything we needed. Walking to town is 170 steps down/up to the bayside road. Some of us did this everyday some not so...

First the good - because I was raised to always find positive things to say. Our kids loved the private mini-pool on our top floor suite. The views of Zihua bay were gorgeous as well. At night, the stars were in their full gorgeous array and their light show was amazing. Had we stayed in the mini-pool all night counting...

It was such a huge gorgeous suite with the balcony and the incredible view of Zihua bay. Very comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The hotel is located up on the hill. It's kind of a long hike to the city, but you can hire a cab, which costs 40-50 pesos. The view was worth it.

Perhaps the best view in Zihuatanejo. The hotel sits about 300' above the bay and offers an amazing view of the bay. The staff is very nice, hardworking and very accommodating. The wifi runs a little slow sometimes and water pressure can be an issue during peak usage periods.

Couldn't wait to get back to this small hotel on the hillside. Clean, quiet (except for the rooster or 2 down the road), long time returnees still there. If you want to rate a place for reasons to return, the best way is to check how many people keep coming back to it every year. This is a place I...
