We stayed here one night while in Guadalajara and booked through Hotel.ca - it was such a great deal. When we arrived, we were greeted by very friendly staff. Rooms were basic but super clean, although pillows weren't great, but the pressure in the shower made up for it (the water kinda smelled a little like algae.) The location is... More

This hotel was friendly, clean, and very reasonable. It was located in downtown Guadalajara, so if you like to walk it is very central to history, We were greeted with friendliness and a broken english speaking door man but got exactly what we needed. we stayed there 4 nights and would return there. we asked for a quiet room and... Really, really inexpensive but the rooms are large and clean. It was on the edge of the Centro Historico but worked out well for us as we like to walk - and its only about six blocks from the hotel. On our first day, we noticed that the toilet was leaking; I called the front desk and within a minute,... More

Booked this cheap hotel at the last minute. Stayed here for 2 days in room 108. The room is on the 1st floor and inside room, no view from the outside street, only in the inside hallway. But I really didn't care about the view since we are out all day. It's also a plus since it's peaceful. Slept pretty... More

It's a nice place. Nothing fancy yet it works. I see that a lot of families stay here, but it worked for my business trip. The surroundings are not really nice at night time, so if you want to go out, I'm not sure this is your place, If you don't have to go out, the restaurant here is pretty... More

Located within a 15 minute walk to the Center. Mariachi Square, La Merced Market and Main Downtown Squares. Hotel itself is very clean, come with Americano Breakfast. The Doormen speaks better english than some of the Front Desk staff. At the restaurant, no one speaks english, so you'd better learn a few words on ordering! Public transport bus stop is... More

When you walk into this hotel, it has a nice boutique-like and welcoming feeling, but then you start paying attention to details. It's clean and cheap, but that's it. I was unable to sleep as every (and I mean - every) time a bus or a large vehicle drove by, the building would shake, literally. There were 5 of us... More

We stayed the night before at the Hotel Aranzazu down the road and were unable to sleep due to the noise level in the hall and next door. At the Hotel Alcazar the management was friendly and English-speaking. We enjoyed two double beds in a large, inside air-conditioned room. The room was clean, nicely furnished, beds were comfortable, and the... More

The best part of this hotel was that it was cheap and clean. Parking, internet and breakfast were included in the price as well, making it an exceptional value. In addition to WiFi, the lounge area of the hotel had two computers that guests were allowed to use. The food was decent, and the service was excellent. Also, if you... More

We stayed three nights recently, and loved the Alcazar. Hotel is not new, however the room was in excellent condition, looked to have been refurbished recently, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was nice, shower had a great shower head, good pressure, and hot water. Housekeeping was extremely high standard, the room was spotless each day, and the housekeeper... More
