We stayed a couple nights around the Day of the Dead and during the Cervantino Festival. The best part is that it is very close to the Jardin de Union and Juarez Theater. The building is old, and there is no elevator, so if you're on the top floor like I was, you will huff and puff. The hotel does... More

I visited the hotel for Easter holidays. Location is great, as it stands just 50 m. away from Teatro Juárez, and it is convenient if you want to go back to your room after a busy morning or afternoon. BUT... problems are: evident lack of maintenance and cleanness. I understand the building is old (actually historically interesting) but rooms are... More

This hotel is in a building constructed in 1673. The history and location make it a good place to stay but the bathroom was not clean and electrical wiring in our room was scary. We thought the price was very high considering the rooms quality, cleanliness and the lack of a free breakfast with the room. The staff at the... More

We found genital hairs in all beds in all 3 rooms we booked. Meaning they don't wash the sheets. The tv signal is gross to say the least and the tv is microscopical. The rooms are dirty, the shower disgusting and it looks like someone gang raped teenagers in one of the showers. Take my advise and stay away.

It's a beautiful historic building in town center. But room without outside window. It's dark and stuffy. We add 1 night in Guanajuato city, but served hotel San Diego can not offer 1 more night. So we stay here before move to San Diego, which is much better

The location is great, but the staff are rude and the stole my credit card information and made purchases, its a good thing that my credit card notified me and they returned the charges. DONT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT THE TO STEAL YOUR IDENTITY.

Its location is far enough from the cathedral, and close enough to walk there without getting winded. Its interiors are modest but comfortable and clean. The restaurant there is average, no wow factors, but if you order a fajita plate or arrachera plate, the portion of meat is much smaller and thinner than its american version.

I stayed here for 3 nights. My room the first night was on the third floor and was a small room (I had to climb over the bed to get to the dresser). Fortunately for the remaining nights, I had a suite on the second floor. Large king size bed. I didn't use the sitting room, though. Hotel is almost... More

I stayed here for a week on the recommendation of a friend, after checking out of a hotel in the 'burbs. Other than its location and friendly front desk staff, this hotel doesn't have much going for it. Strange, dark rooms, shabby, worn furniture. But the price was, I thought, fair, and the location was great.

We chose to stay here because of its central location. While its instalations are adecuate, there was a really strong smell permeating from the sink and shower hole. I spoke to some other guests and they had the same problem. It is obviously nothing knew as there were various air fresheners scattered around the room. As we had a room... More
