Our second time here but stayed in the main hotel. It was a little noisy with the street traffic just outside. but, closing the shutters at night and turning on the air conditioner drowned most of the noise out. The room was large, clean and well appointed. My only slight criticism was breakfast. It is complimentary and there was a... More

Quinta Las Acacias was the perfect Boutique Hotel for our Guanajuato adventure. It is an elegant & well thought out Hotel. It reminded us of our stays in Italy at restored farmhouses. We were booked in for two nights and stayed for four. Our favourite memories of our stay our the staff, who are so warm and hospitable. We were spoiled... More

The front office desk was doing things ridiculously wrong all the time, though the young man there sounded equally confident all the time. The hotel didn't have tea (!), there was no kitchen working on Sunday, the cab came late when asked and we missed the sunset at Pipilla. And the European room we stayed in is right on the... More

I loved this place, from the historical aspect of the old mansion to the beautifully decorated room, to the fine service. The included breakfast was very good, no details was left out, in keeping with the period of the home, even the napkins and placemats in delicate lace. This hotel is perfect for couples as most rooms have large jacuzzi... More

We only stayed at this hotel overnight and arrived late and checked out early. We wished we could have spent more time here because it's very elegant and our room on the top floor very spacious and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant and our meal was delicious and the staff were just the right amount of attentive. My husband... More

The Quinta Las Acacias in located on the eastern end of Guanajuato, GTO. It's a 4 kilometer walk or cab ride down to the central district. It was obviously a mansion at one time, although I don't know its history. The neighborhood is like an embassy row. The management is strongly oriented to detail and delivers an unusual and satisfying... More

In fact, this beautiful house was built in 1890 when the owners of the Mines came to this area to enjoy a countryhouse next to the Presa de la Olla. Many families lived here through the pass of the years, in fact we have had some guest who grown up part of their childrehood in this house. Therefore, we try... More

Excellent customer service and very quaint layout of the furniture and interior design. It would be great to have more power sockets near the bed. Nonetheless, it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay in the hotel!

“Rooms facing the street are a mixed blessing. They face a lovely park. However, they can also be noisier due to traffic.”

“The suite that we had was large and had a sitting area and a very large Jacuzzi area doubling the size of the bathroom. The bathroom had natural lighting which was a bonus. Ask for a suite. There is no fridge or microwave in the rooms but the staff were responsive with ice and glasses.”

“Re fitness Center/spa.....the reviews above are inaccurate...I couldn't seem to get it to just leave those two items blank. There was a small pool, but this is not a place one should go if they are seeking a typical big pool/spa experience. It is a gorgeous hotel....lovely grounds, rooms, patios, service, etc. The idea, usually, when visiting a place such as Guanajuato, is to go for the culture and history of this city, the fact that our hotel was a wonderful place to return to each day definitely heightened our entire experience. It was such a lovely, tranquil place. The newer part of the hotel is what I would recommend. It is sort of Santa Fe like I suppose....lots of cactus, stone walkways, patios....just lovely!”

“Every room is different ... the ones out back in the cactus garden area are all newer and are suites and the ones in the house itself I did not see but would guess smaller and less money”
