Stayed here with my sisters in February 2017 and were comfortable and enjoyed our stay but had some issues. We booked two rooms at the same time - obviously a group, but ended up with rooms on two different floors. Lots of stair climbing - rooms were comfortable but inconsistent. We had a small kitchen in our room with zero...

We stayed in this beautiful hotel last summer. I give it four stars, because of its ambiance, and it's also in a great location. The staff was also very nice. You can walk to the University, Teatro Juarez, and El Jardin. Everything is nearby. Also, a little pro-tip, if you would like to wash your clothes before heading back home,...

This is a cozy and charming hotel which has many positives. It is centrally located at a walking distance from all the attractions and eateries. It is not elegant but charming. The problems are several: the rooms are on four floors with steeps stairs and no elevator, the is a labyrinth of courtyards and stairs, there is virtually no lobby....

Close to the center of town, and lots of restaurants and galleries to explore. Really nice center area where a full and delicious breakfast is served. Love the history of this Hotel and good they kept the old walls. Nice room, clean and had Kitchenette.

The staff is super friendly, housekeeping is on point and are also very helpful and the hotel is located in the heartland of Guanajuato. No elevators though. The Diego Rivera museum is almost next door I will be coming back and stay at this beautiful hotel.

Upon arrival I had to carry our suitcase for the two of us up 3 flights of stairs. Then I was greeted with a room that was the size of most hotels bathrooms. The room had a kitchenette, however no utensils, no dishes, no nothing. Not that I wanted a kitchenette but what is the purpose of one that doesn't...

I give it a 4 because of the location and the cleanliness of the place. It seemed that the staff was constantly cleaning the place... and the hotel is fairly large. Don't know how many rooms there are, but there are four levels. At the beginning, the place makes you think of a labyrinth, almost like the Harry Potter school...

Four delightful nights in Guanajuato at this unique hotel. Very convenient to everything. Super nice staff and great light/balcony in our fourth floor room. Understand some of the lower rooms kind of dark. Rooftop terrace beautiful. Super super clean top to bottom. This hotel has lots of flights of stairs twisting up/down throughout the building, so tough if you are...

The staff was so welcoming, helpful and friendly! That was just the beginning. The rooms and entire property are so uniquely decorated and comfortable You know that you are in a colonial city in Mexico. And to boot, you are close to several lovely museums, the mercado and just about everything there is to see,
