And it has the ambience to prove it. We got in on a late flight, maybe 9 pm. The cabbie dropped us and our wheeled luggage behind the Theatro Juarez and indicated "walk that way and keep going". He didn't get a tip, but he couldn't get much closer because it's an old town made for carts and now has...

This hotel is definitely dated but that is the charm about this place. Our family of four throughly enjoyed our two nights here. The location can't be beat, the staff is very friendly, and the breakfast was served at your table. We would happily return.

Everything seemed to be within about 2 blocks of this location. The plaza itself was very entertaining. Other than the location, the best thing about the hotel is the desk staff who spoke English and were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is old but does have an elevator for those with mobility issues. Our room was clean. The bathroom...

This hotel is in an excellent location but everybody seems to be just mailing it in. The place has a very nice lobby but after that you have acres of corridors and mediocre rooms. Our room was okay but the bathroom was old and had plenty of mold around the tiles and the faucets. The bed was okay, as were...

The hotel has an unbeatable location. You can walk anywhere and there are always attractions nearby. Parking is complicated but thats a problem all hotels downtown have. The hotel could really use some maintenance, needs painting, should remove carpets, and replace towels and sheets which are too old. Overall its a good place to stay but it could be better...

As a group of 5 we entered the restaurant at 10:45pm after at show. No problem at all being seated and promptly served. Typical Mexican meals all looking excellent. I had ? mineras. Chicken leg and? Tasty, hot temp, nicely presented. Enjoyable!

Forget the car, bus, but bring the walking shoes everything is in walking distance! Yes things can be noisy being on the square but we told the hotel staff gave us a room on the back side of the hotel very quite with our own patio. The bar was something to be desired to be honest although you get 2-1...

So before I review the hotel may I say Guanajuato is the neatest little mountain and former mining town ever. The quaint tunnels and hills and alleyways make for a wonderful town to explore for a few days. We were there during Dias de Muerto which made the trip all the more spectacular. Now the hotel, first off, if you...

Excellent location, however the noise from the street is too loud at night, if your room faces the street prepare not to sleep, and unfortunately the noise inside is also very bad, if someone talks at the hall you will listen EVERYTHING as if they were inside your room The rest is ok, but the carpet in the stairs and...
