My spouse, myself, my sister-in-law and niece all stayed at El Zopilote Mojado for three nights. It is extremely clean and modern and were very happy with the beds, the rooms, the sitting area, which was nice since we were all together, yet not together. I also like that it is close to everything, and like the key pad rather...

We spent a week in Guanajuato and stayed at El Zopilote Mojado. We chose it for the interesting name (The Wet Vulture) and after reviewing the website. The hotel is located on a small plaza about a 5 minute walk uphill from the Jardin del Union. There is no vehicular traffic around the plaza, so no traffic noise. The hotel...

Four of us stayed at El Zopilote Mojado in mid February, a five minute walk from the Jardin de la Union and all the restaurants you could wish for. We both had a nice room with own bathrooms(blue room the quietest, no outlook but french doors for air) Sun room at front a little noisy at times,no traffic though. Nice...

I concur with other reviewers on the virtues of El Zopilote Mojado -- Raul and Ana, the friendly and helpful proprietors; the comfortable and nicely-decorated rooms, especially the new apartments in the annex building; the good, filling breakfasts and tasty cakes in the cafe; and the handy location on a quiet plaza just a few minutes' walk from the center...

We stayed here in February, 2007. Raul Galarza, the owner, is wonderful and very helpful. The cafe is very peaceful and has a great breakfast. We had a room in the house nearby (owned by El Zopilote Mojado) and had the use of the entire house, including kitchen and patio with breathtaking view. We are a retired couple and stayed...

If you're visiting Guanajuato, definitely stay at El Zopilote Mojado. It's close enough to the central part of town to be an easy walk but it's quiet, too. The guest house is extremely clean and comfortable, and the lovely decor only adds to the enjoyment. In addition, the housekeeping staff and the owner are very friendly and helpful. We had...

We spent 7 days and would have spent more if time permitted. Guanajuato is a picturesque colonial town with hills that meander through it like a maze. There are tons of stores, restaurants and everything is accessible, provided one can walk and climb stairs. Prices are reasonsable in comparison to San Miguel Allende. We visited during Xmas so we had...

Visited Guanajuato for the Thanksgiving Holidays with my mom. I booked the Sun and White Rooms in the hotel. The design is great--the White Room is in between the Sun and Blue Rooms and can open up to either room especially great when visiting with family like we did. Mr. Galarza (or Raul) was a fantastic host. We arrived early...

It is a good address with reservations. Location is superb: in Centro, but on a plazuela cut off from much car traffic. That also meant we had to walk a bit to get a taxi. But the church bells still ring and the dogs bark furiously. Probably unavoidable in town... Upkeep is excellent; lots of modern convenience, but we had...

Thank you for your comments! Our practice is to change the linens every 3rd day or upon our customers' request. We strive to maintain high standards of cleanliness and will pay more attention to this detail! Plenty of kleenex should have been available for your stay and we will ensure that this is the case in the future! Again, thank...

We just stayed here last week and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and picturesque. We stayed in the blue room, which wasn't our first choice but it worked out fine. I don't think you can go wrong with any room here. It was very quiet and it had a nice bathroom. In particulr, we loved...
