We have stayed with Rick & Carmen many times. They are splendid hosts and the rooms are spotless and located with a great view of Guanajuato at the top of the Finicula near the huge statue of Pipila. Rick and Carmen also give you free passes to the Finicula. Carmen serves a splendid breakfast to her guests from all over...

I returned to Casa Zuniga this year (stayed there in Oct 2015 for the first time) and it felt like going home (except Casa Z is much nicer and a lot more fun than my home!). Warmth, hospitality, beautiful rooms, incomparable views, out of this world breakfast -- it doesn't get any better. Most of all, though, the warmth of...

We stayed here on out last trip to Guanajuato, MX. The owner was a fantastic host. he & his wife served a fantastic breakfast each morning & provided free tickets to ride the Fernicular into the center of Guanajuato. A Fernicular is an angled (about 45 degree) tram that takes you up & down an incline, on rails. Just up...

The Casa Zuniga sits at the top of the Western side of the hill overlooking the old historic district of Guanajuato.  The B&B is at 6,000+feet, so if you’re a flatlander, spent some time getting acclimated to the altitude.  The B&B is owned by Rick and Carmen, two wonderful hosts who have a wealth of experience hosting. Rick is a whirlwind...

This is one of the best lodging that I have ever stayed, and I'm very well-travelled! The rooms, both public, and the bedrooms are amazingly beautiful. It really feels more like visiting a wealthy, and attentive relative. One almost feel like crying when leaving because the hosts' treatment makes you feel so welcome. Get ready for wonderful Mexican breakfasts, plentiful...

We stayed at Casa Zuniga last year during Cervantino and did so again this year. This casa is located at the top of El Pipila right next to the funicular. So, you can be down in Centro next to the tiatro in a minute. This is great because you have quick access to the city but have spectacular views you...

A spectacular place. You come to Guanajuato for the views and the winding lanes. Casa Zuniga has the most spectacular views, high on a hill and deep within the lanes, and yet it is easily accessible both from the Centro via the always fun funicular (for which you get a free pass from Rick or Carmen, escaping ticket lines), and...

Location is awesome right next to Pipila statue. You can take the cable train (funicular) to downtown or walk down stairs. Food is on point at casa Zuniga,my wife enjoyed the food there more than some of the places in the city, every day was something different and delicious. Staff is very friendly and Rick and Carmen are rock star...

This eclectic B&B is filled with original and interesting art created by the owner Rick. Rick knows so much about the local history and if you have a chance, go out and explore the town with him. Carmen runs a great B&B with truly great breakfasts. Awesome views, within walking distance to everything. We can't wait to come back!!
