We stayed here for a week. The concierge was very helpful with local restaurants and shops. He also had maps available. The location is close to the Historic Center, National Cathedral, Templo Mayor. We used Uber to go to several museums and restaurants. The TripAdvisor app has an Uber link by the map, this is very helpful.

What made this hotel for us was the location. We visited Mexico City in August of this year for my birthday. We were going to be spending 4 nights and 3 days in Mexico City and I really wanted us to see as much as possible in this small window of time. Many suggested other areas for the stay but...

This is a convenient, no-frills hotel, located in a historial building 3 blocks away from the spectacular Zocalo, la Catedral and the Palacio de Gobierno. I have been stayed here many times. It makes for a perfect camp-base to explore Mexico City’s wonderful Centro Historico. Edgar and Alejandro, the concierges, are top-notch. Great shopping nearby, including a Palacio de Hierro...

Fantastic location, hotel is in a converted convent. Five minutes walk to Palacio Bella de Artes and other attractions. Fifth floor Terrazzo is beautiful. Rooms are a bit tiny but I am used to NYC size rooms :-) bakery and restaurants right across. Staff friendly and helpful. Standard HI breakfast, well stocked. Wish they had a fridge though. Going to...
