Contrary to the experience of sjcox who titled his review as "Cheap, Close to Airport But Not Nice", I have a very positive opinion of that hotel. To quote sjcox's review: "Everything was okay but nothing is nice" This a contradiction. My review: During the last 5 years I had stayed at this hotel twice during my stopovers from Mexico...

You can walk to this hotel from the airport, but I wouldn't recommend if you have heavy luggage; it's a rather long walk through the terminal, across a pedestrian bridge and a short way down a street. There are nicer, more expensive hotels much closer that can be accessed directly from the terminal. I paid 1,000 pesos (~$50 USD) which...

HOTEL AEROPUERTO is really convenient to the Mexico City Airport. We were leaving the next morning from TERMINAL 1 and could have easily walked there from the hotel. There is a pedestrian bridge built with long, sloping ramps so that travelers may roll luggage up, across the busy road and back down to the METRO and the airport. We chose...

I stayed here at the last minute when my flight coming in from Havana got delayed and I missed the connection back to Tijuana. It was recommended to me by the information desk at the airport and I am grateful to them for that as this place is clean and very reasonably priced considering its proximity to the airport. If...

This is our go-to hotel when travelling between Vancouver and San Miguel de Allende. When flights arrive late or leave early from Mexico City, it makes sense to stay overnight. The airport hotels are expensive. But right out of the Metro station is an overpass without stairs and on the other side is the ramada and beside it, the Hotel...

At 650 pesos (cash only, and they will only exchange US dollars) this is a good deal if you have a long layover as we did. Note that reservations are cancelled at 10 pm if you haven't arrived. Easy communication with the hotel before our trip (their written English is good). No deposit required. Sheets, towels and bathroom were clean....

We liked this place even though it doesn't look like much from the outside. It was a 15-min walk from our check-in counter and just right for a quick overnight stay before our early international flight. I was worried it wouldn't be safe to walk to the airport at 4am, but it was ok, and there were several taxis around...

We had about a 7 hour wait for out flight so we checked into the Hotel Aeropuero for a rest. The lobby was not very attractive but our room was quite nice and bright with a large window and a view of the airport. The windows were soundproof. We paid 650 pesos. The internet was good and the shower was...

If you are catching an early flight, it makes sense to stay close to the airport. All other airport hotels are chain hotels, charging over $100US a night. The Hotel Aeropuerto is across the road, and it is half the price. There is a pedestrian bridge with no stairs that you can use to cross the road to get to...

We needed a hotel close to the airport for an early morning flight out the next day. This hotel was recently remodelled, quiet, had a good restaurant and only 620 pesos for two people. Couldn't find our way there so ended up taking a taxi both ways which cost 100 pesos each way. We asked at the information booth at...

“See if you can get a room facing the airport. You can see airplanes coming and going, which is pretty cool. These rooms face the east, so you can get very nice photos in the morning.”
