My friend and I spent 7 nights here because of its proximity to the Xocolo and the metro. We were pleasantly surprised. Very few US guests, many Mexicans and folks from other Latino countries. Breakfast (huge choices) is included. The service and hospitality equaled that of many upscale hotels, minus superfluous amenities. Everyone was gracious, helpful, accommodating, and went out...

Most enjoyable stay. The location is excellent and reasonably quiet. The staff did everything to make our stay as smooth as possible- offering to order a taxi when they saw me with luggage, moving the luggage to make our room change seamless, cooking scrummy omletes for my son. Free juice/ crisps/ cakes/ nuts in the lobby at different times of...

The hotel itself was very accommodating and had great rates. I enjoyed my stay and I have nothing negative to say about the facility. My main concern was with the staff. There's poor communication among the employees. The staff gave my family/friends the wrong information about my whereabouts. I didn't expect the staff to keep up with my comings and...

This hotel is perfectly situated just behind the cathedral and Templo Mayor. The staff is friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfasts are absolutely terrific! The little touches, like complementary guavas (in season) and potato chips, are lovely. This is a wonderful place to stay.

Only one block from the Cathedral, unbelievable value, helpful staff, even free snacks at reception. You will need to book early, as their business model is to charge very competitive rates and have high occupancy. They deserve their many accolades.

A friend recommended this small hotel near the Zocalo of Mexico City. I am so glad she did. This hotel is a great and affordable find. The rooms are spotless and quite roomy for the price and location. They offer a great free breakfast buffet--with cook-to-order omlettes, eggs, and pancakes. The service in the breakfast room is friendly, attentive, and...

Great staff! Very kind and helpful. We had our 2.5 year old along and they were incredibly kind with him. Breakfast was huge and they were always willing to make things on request for us. Susanna took great care of us and our room.

We recently stayed at the wonderful Hotel Catedral for 7 nights. We checked in very late on a Monday night but they were expecting us and we had no issues. We were on the 5th floor (we had requested a high floor in order to get a view) and had a pretty skyline view. Our "Matrimonial" room had 2 double...
