This hotel is located at the Plaza. The restaurant is located at the top of the building on the 6th floor, with beautiful views of the plaza. Here they serve breakfast. There is manned elevator up to the individual floors. But a bit worn with noise from the pedestrian zone until midnight. The room was large, clean and tidy. The...

Stayed here for a couple of nights in March 2017. Located right on the corner of Madero (a pedestrianized shopping street) and the main square (Zocalo), the "Majestic" lives up to its name in an early 19th cenury sense. Now rather faded, but at one time it must have been truly majestic: masses of rooms around a large atrium, views...

We stayed on the 6th floor. The view was amazing! Every morning we watched the sunrise over the square it was fantastic. The staff was outstanding. Helped us out in every way possible. This hotel is in walking distance to everything. Would go back. It's a clean and cute hotel.

Excellent place to stay if you going to Mexico city. Nice view to the Zocalo, walking distance to El templo Mayor and Bellas artes museum, cathedral, restaurants, plenty to see arrown with out a car. My kids had lots of fun, on weekends they have events at the Zocalo and we got a perfect view from our balcony!

Okay, it is way cool location. My window opened onto the Zocalo and the view was spectacular. However, be prepared to walk your luggage down a cobbled pedestrian street. There is a tiny warning on the mirror that the tap water is not safe to drink and you need to let the shower run for quite a while to get...

The staff is great, the place is clean, the rooms are large, the windows open up, the views from the room are great, the buffet breakfast stinks, the location can't be beat...but remember that it is an old hotel. This is not a 5 star property...so it depends on what you are looking for. If you are visiting Mexico City...

Perfect location overlooking city center government buildings and cathedral. Old world charm. Room had a patio to enjoy our view day and night. Friendly, helpful, attentive staff. Wonderful breakfast and restaurant. Could not have had a better hotel with better staff. Experience was perfect!

Excellent/friendly staff, delicious breakfast, clean and spacious rooms, but the mattresses were very old, hard and caused back pain. There was no microwave, mini fridge, a/c or fan in the room. The room did have a nice view of the main plaza.

This is a very old property with a lot of historical interest that we enjoyed. If you expect something modern and flashy you will be disappointed. We had a nice view from our balcony of the Zocalo, Cathedral and Presidential Palace. Wifi worked well. Large clean room with older furniture and a huge bathroom. Attendants operate the old fashioned elevators....

No view from rooms. Elevators not frequently running. Has seen better days. Nice breakfast at restaurant on top floor overlooking the Zocalo. Reasonable rates. If looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Mexico City this is good. The Zocalo is not in the part of the city which is the most central now but it is in the historical...
