The hotel is decent and located in the center and opposite to the square in Mexico City. The streets and roads are always busy and lot of restaurants nearby, ranging from VIPS, KFC, McDonald's to try with standard options with hygiene. The buffet breakfast at the hotel was very good with many options and varieties. The room is neat and...

The only thing in this hotel that is excellent is its Location.Right across the wonderful cathedral and the Zocalo. When arrived at the front desk to check in I had to wait about ten minutes for the clerk. He was in a conversation with another employee and he never apologize for the delay. My room in the third floor was facing the Zocalo.Beautiful!I...

We stayed for one night. Walking distance to all major attractions and landmark buildings. Staff very friendly and willing to help/advice. Our room was facing the main plaza (Zocalo), very noisy at night however we did ask for this type of room. Very short distance to a metro station.

The quality of the bed is very poor, the front desk / concierge were not able to answer simple touristic question and just said they don't know. Plus need some basic repair, electric cable coming out of the wall. We were not able to take shower because they and we were not able to adjust temperature ofthe water. The answer...

My visit was a few years ago. I chose this place because of the location to the subway across the street and the hustle and bustle of downtown. Great eating areas outside the zocalo you just need to walk around. Head over to the Mercado nearby they have great little restaurants. Around the corner to the left when you exit...

O.K., here's the thing -- we really enjoyed our stay here but it was at the peek of the Holiday season. It's a very popular spot due to the rooftop restaurant--so there's a lot of people coming and going. Our 1st room faced the plaza and we loved the view, but it was noisy--fun, happy noisy. We asked for a...

Geoff and I stayed there on 2 separate occasions in Nov/Dec, either side of a trip to Cuba. Efficient check-in, great parisian-style cafe next door, lots of action in the central square (Zocolo). Bathrooms are in need of a make-over, but they work ok. I for one am happy to trade the noise from the square for the excellent views...

I stayed at this hotel for a few days last week. The location is right in the heart of the central historic district across from the metropolitan cathedral. It is a bit of a challenge to find on your own and my taxi driver had to drop me off a couple blocks away due to road closures. I do not...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days in November. We had a very late arrival due to airline schedules. We took an airport taxi and it was after 1am when we got to the downtown area. Since this hotel entrance is on a pedestrian only walkway, the cabs can't pull up to the door. On top of that,...

A really central location, so expect some noise. It is a real traditional colonial styled hotel, but this adds to its charm with tilled floors staircases and a lift which is of the last century. Breakfast is taken from the roof terrace, great views. For an evening meal the food is probably better else where. The staff are really friendly...
