This is quite a large hotel, with 154 rooms. It is not quaint or charming by any means. But the rooms are large, the shower is excellent with lots of hot water, and the buffet breakfast is very good. We spent 4 nights here and enjoyed it. It is close to Alameda Park. It is convenient for visiting the excellent...

With a excellent location close to the Historic Center and the Alameda, great attention from the personal, nice rooms and delicious food to provide, this is one of the better option to choose in Mexico City~

Very good hotel, well located in the historic area of Mexico City. At a walking distance from the Alameda and the Zocalo it is really a good choice ! The rooms are comfortable but a little bit old. The food is delicious,We had 4 dinners there as we stayed twice during our trip to Mexico in this hotel. Always fresh...

Our stay in this hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff was professional and polite. It did, however, feel like a business hotel. The location was convenient and we walked to many of the downtown sights. I would have enjoyed the hotel more if the rooms had air conditioning and the staff were a...

Our travel agent arranged this hotel for us, so I have no idea about the price for a night. Personally, I would not have booked this hotel because it is too 'businessy' and basic for my liking. Yes, it is close to the zocalo and the main shopping street. But it is hard finding a decent bar in the immediate...

This was the third time staying here, and we will return. It is predictable, great price for the location, no issues with accurterements or service, etc. Highly recommended for about 700 pesos a night for a double bed, one person. You can walk to the alameda, the zócalo, and most of the downtown sights in the heart of the centro...

We used this hotel cause we went to a concert in Mexico city. To be honest, i chose it because of its location, but never imagined the price/value relation it has. Rooms are extremely clean and it has what it takes to a comfortable stay. Location was very convenient since it is very close to Palacio de Bellas Artes, the...

After looking at reviews I found this place to be appealing from online reviews. This place is all show in the front. I paid for a king bed with breakfast. I got a queen bed and a waiter who is more concerned about his "Propina" than taking care of the customer. There is NO A/C, the streets are loud even...

After a few days in the mountain, it was both chaotic to return to Mexico City and nice to get to a soft bed and hot shower. This hotel is nothing fancy - a bit dated, in fact - but provides safe, clean, friendly lodging. The hotel is walking distanced to some fantastic attractions and restaurants. There is a nearby...

Staying in Alameda

Neighbourhood Profile
Alameda
This beautiful park was once the playground for the wealthiest families in the colonial era, and is now the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander around admiring the charming gardens and the sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may be time to visit one of the many cozy restaurants or cafés with its characteristic art nouveau facades to cool down and call it a day.
