I had booked for 21 nights to stay as a base to go other places in México. I thought it would be cosy and welcoming and full of character. Unfortunately, the staff don't speak English. Certainly not to have a conversation. The area (on edge of zona Rosa ) is a dull and lifeless area. My bedroom had issues 1....

My wife and I arrived to the hotel on the 24th (1:00 am). We were taken care for by a nice gentleman who showed us our room and gave us our food tickets (Expedia bundle). The room was average sized, with a view to the street. The bathrooms were average but relatively clean. The bed however was uncomfortable and the...

And friend and I stayed here over a long weekend for the Formula One race. This is not a fancy upscale hotel by any means but for the price, it was excellent. Great, safe location in sort of the center of numerous great neighborhoods (Zona Rosa, Roma Norte, Condesa), clean simple rooms, friendly staff. What more could you want if...

All you could ask for a budget hotel - a bed with clean sheets, good hot shower, and great location. The only downside was the WiFi connection. They had several WiFi routers covering the whole hotel but none of them seemed to ever connect. The only reliable way to connect was to sit in the downstairs computer area, right next...

Excellent location for Zona Rosa and Centro Historico. Clean and well maintained, although wifi was not at all reliable. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed there on our first and last 3 night in Mexico.

We spent two days in the Posada Viena at the end of March. The staff was very helpful, the free breakfast adequate and the location in the heart of the Zona Rosa meant that lots of things were within walking distance. The rooms were large and colorfully painted. My only complaints were that the beds were too hard and that...

Reception was very good, friendly staff. The room was large enough with fresh flowers, but was dated. The bathroom could have used a renovation. There was no free wifi in the rooms, had to go down to the reception area. I appreciated that the location was near everything. The hotel has an Argentine restaurant downstairs. They also had music and...

We wouldn't ask for anymore improvements of this hotel: delicious traditional breakfast, comfy& cozy room with nice view although it was not so spacious, friendly staff... We would come back here again in our next trip to Mexico

I stayed for five nights here and found it a very good base from which to explore the city. Depending on what you are used to, it is quite basic and the staff appear a bit wary of English-speaking guests. The Argentine steak restaurant below can get quite busy and there was late-night music and dancing in the building one...

I must say, our initial reception at the hotel was excellent. The receptionist on hand was very friendly and helpful, but the rooms are very dated and should, at the very least, be painted and have the carpet (especially on the beds!) taken out. Our problem started the next morning just before 11am when we were to leave the hotel....
