This is a traditional Mexican style hotel. Only plus is they have several restaurants on site which are good. Breakfast is great. Several minuses include poor internet quality (Despite paying for the internet - high price), no coffee pot in the room etc. Price for stay is also high and one would expect internet and coffee pot to be included...

Was staying on business for a week. Had a club room. The room was clean, modern, quiet, the bed comfortable, and the internet worked. The hotel was very busy, particularly during breakfast time. I tried the main breakfast place once, which was OK, but then preferred to use the club room for breakfast, which was just fine and quiet. Would...

It is a very good hotel if you have a connecting flight to another place. The room was clean, the staff were helpful and the room-service breakfast was quite filling and delicious. It is a life saver for people on transit, and good enough hotel for visitors too.

I choose the hotel because it was close to my workplace and offered internet. The internet signal was so weak I couldn't even sustain a phone call using Skype. Two nights the internet was disconnected from 9:00 pm. The second night at 11:00 pm I called reception to complain and after one hour waiting they told me to go down...

This hotel is good if you are on business. Safe. Close to a lot of restaurants. Bars. Touristic areas all walking distance. We walked to Chapultepec Park where there is El Castillo. We went to Museo de antropología. Auditorio Nacional. Loved the street food in front of Auditorio. Walked on Reforma where there is El Angel de la Independencia. Walked...

I wrote manager demanding explanation....Manager claimed it was due to peso exchange. I booked in Pesos, paid in Pesos (cash)....and actually 11/10 was 20.48 / US Dollar 11/15 rate was 20.34 ......

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Camino Real Polanco is unique architectural concept, created by highly-regarded architect Ricardo Legorreta. This space is considered a Hotel-Museum for its beauty and art collection. It opened its doors to the public on July 25, 1968, combining modern features with shapes clearly reminiscent of Prehispanic pyramids, the elements of which merge together to create a wonderful architectural work. Camino Real Polanco has hosted two soccer World Cups and the Olympic Games, as well as over 210 official visits from presidents and kings from all over the world.
