The Hilton Reforma is a nearly perfect hotel for first time tourists. Although mostly business types stay here, I can't say enough about the service, location and comfort found here. HIghly recommended.

I could not have been more pleased with my stay at this property. The location is ideal to explore Mexico City (20 minute walk to the Zocalo, less than 10 to the Palacio de Bellas Artes), and the room and hotel itself were nicer than I expected. The staff was great, particularly with my kids (11 and 9). I note...

Our room was comfortable and functional, but nothing special to write home about. The bathroom could have been nicer with better toiletries. There were definitely not enough plug-points near the beds for my brother and I to plug in our phones/ipads. As an HHonors Gold member, I did receive a high floor 'upgrade' which gave me access to the Executive...

The Hilton is one of the best choices of hotels in Mexico City. It is in a perfect location with nearby restaurants, Bellas Artes Palace, and many shopping areas. I walked to the reception and stated my name, the girl on the other side of the desk directed me to the 26th floor where someone was waiting for me to...

My second time at the Hilton Reforma and they do a great job. The location is perfect for visiting the city, as so many great things to do and see are within walking distance and many restaurants close by. The hotel has very good restaurants and the lobby bar is terrific. Staff is most accommodating.

While this hotel is a fine choice for a stay in central Mexico City, it falls just short of a 5 star luxury hotel. The multilingual staff was professional and efficient from the moment I checked in. Although I arrived early the morning, I was permitted to use the excellent gym while waiting for my room to be ready. The...

Do not—I repeat, do not—make prepaid bookings at this hotel. They will overbook and then send you to another Hilton property with a lower star rating in a completely different part of town. This is what happened to us: • We used our Air Miles to pay for six nights at the Hilton Reforma, which we had selected because it...

Overall, the hotel is great. Yet the restaurant on the sixth floor has awful food. The juices they offer are too sweet and the food isn't good. I don't recommend this restaurant at all. The service is really slow even though there were few persons there. There are much better restaurants than this one. Being the quality the food was...

The Hilton standards you would expect in a great location for business. Clean rooms, good customer service and lots of not fancy but good restaurants and convenience stores within 3 blocks around. If you want office space and meeting rooms the hotel has plenty of space. I used the business center to print twice and both times it was surprisingly...

Staying in Alameda

Neighbourhood Profile
Alameda
This beautiful park was once the playground for the wealthiest families in the colonial era, and is now the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander around admiring the charming gardens and the sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may be time to visit one of the many cozy restaurants or cafés with its characteristic art nouveau facades to cool down and call it a day.
